۞ وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ أَتْرَابٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And with them will be chaste women, restraining their looks, companions of equal age.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور ان کے پاس (حیادار) نظریں جھکائے رکھنے والی ہمجولیاں ہوں گی۔

French

Et avec eux se trouveront des femmes chastes, refrénant leurs regards par modestie, compagnes d’âge égal.

Und bei ihnen werden (Keusche) sein, züchtig blickend, Gefährtinnen gleichen Alters.

他们将有[c](贞节而) 视线向下的同龄 (伴侣)。

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ان کے پاس نظریں نیچے رکھنے والی ہم عمر عورتیں ہوں گی۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And with them will be [b]chaste women with their eyes downcast, companions of equal age.

55:57.

English - Five Volume Translation

And with them will be [b]chaste women, restraining their looks, companions of equal age.[3416]

Important Words:

اتراب (companions of equal age) is the plural of ترب (tirbun) which means, one born at the same time with another; a contemporary in birth, an equal in age; a match, a peer (Lane & Aqrab).

Commentary:

The present and preceding two verses embody a complete picture of the material benefits and blessings which are bestowed upon believers in this very life and thus furnish a proof that they will also have the blessings promised to them in the life to come.

اور ان کے پاس شرمیلی ہم سن بیویاں ہوں گی

English - Sahih

And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age.

اور ان کے پاس نیچی نگاہ والی ہم عمر عورتیں ہوں گی

And with them (will be) companions of modest gaze well-matched.
