قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

He said, ‘My Lord, then grant me respite till the day when they shall be raised.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اس نے کہا اے میرے ربّ! اس صورت میں مجھے اس دن تک مہلت دے دے جس دن (لوگ) مبعوث کئے جائیں گے۔

French

Il dit : « Mon Seigneur, alors accorde-moi un répit jusqu’au jour où ils seront ressuscités. »

German

Er sprach: "O mein Herr, gewähre mir Aufschub bis zum Tage, an dem sie auferweckt werden."

Chinese

他说: “我的养主啊! [e]求你赐我缓刑, 直到他们复生之日。”[1121]

人类的精神复生当达到了 “心灵平静” 的阶段后, 他们就可免于精神堕落。

Egli disse: «Mio Signore, concedimi allora una tregua, fino al giorno in cui essi saranno risuscitati.»

Spanish

Él dijo: “Mi Señor, oncédeme entonces un respiro hasta el día en que sean resucitados”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اس پر اس نے کہا اے میرے رب! (اگر ایسا ہی کرنا ہے) تو مجھے اس وقت تک مہلت دے جب تک ان کو زندہ کرکے پھر کھڑا کر دیا جائے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

He said, ‘My Lord, [d]then grant me respite till the day when they shall be raised.’[2558]

Man’s spiritual rebirth—when having attained to the stage of 'the soul at peace,' he becomes immune to spiritual fall. See also {1498}.

English - Five Volume Translation

He said, [a]‘My Lord, then grant me respite till the day when they shall be raised.’[3433]

Commentary:

The clause, the day when they shall be raised, signifies the time of the spiritual rebirth of man, when having attained to the stage of النفس المطمئنة (the soul at peace) he becomes quite immune to spiritual fall. It does not signify the Day of Resurrection after death, because there is no possibility of man being seduced by Satan after his death. See also 15:37.

وہ بولا "ا ے میرے رب، یہ بات ہے تو پھر مجھے اُس وقت تک کے لیے مہلت دے دے جب یہ لوگ دوبارہ اٹھائے جائیں گے"

English - Sahih

He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."

عرض کی اے میرے رب! پھر مجھے مردوں کے زندہ ہونے تک مہلت دے

English - Talal Itani

He said, "My Lord! Then give me respite until (the) Day they are resurrected."
