۞ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَبَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلصِّدْقِ إِذْ جَآءَهُۥٓ ۚ أَلَيْسَ فِى جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ

Who, then, is more unjust than he who lies against Allah or he who rejects the truth when it comes to him? Is there not in Hell an abode for the disbelievers?

پس اس سے زیادہ ظالم کون ہو سکتا ہے جو اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھے اور سچائی کو جھٹلا دے جب وہ اس کے پاس آئے۔ کیا جہنم میں کافروں کے لئے ٹھکانہ نہیں ہے؟

Qui donc commet une plus grande injustice que celui qui ment contre Allāh, et qui rejette la vérité lorsqu’elle vient à lui ? N’y a-t-il pas en Enfer une demeure pour les mécréants ?

Wer begeht also größeres Unrecht als einer, der Lügen wider Allah vorbringt, oder einer, der die Wahrheit verwirft, wenn sie zu ihm kommt? Ist nicht in der Hölle eine Wohnstatt für die Ungläubigen?

Chi, dunque, è più ingiusto di colui che mente contro Allah e rifiuta la verità quando gli giunge? Non c'è forse, nell'Inferno, una dimora per i miscredenti?

¿Quién es, pues, más injusto que quien miente contra Al‑lah y rechaza la verdad cuando le llega? ¿No hay acaso en el Infierno una morada para los incrédulos?

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور اس سے زیادہ ظالم کون ہو سکتا ہے جو اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھے اور (خدا کی طرف سے آنے والے) سچ کو جب وہ اس کے پاس آئے جھٹلائے۔ کیا کافروں کا ٹھکانا جہنم نہیں ہے؟

English - Short Commentary Translation

[c]Who, then, is more unjust than he who lies against Allah and he who rejects the truth when it comes to him? Is there not in Hell an abode for the disbelievers?

Commentary:

After having briefly referred, in the foregoing verses, to the need and purpose of revelation, the Surah proceeds to give two very sound and effective arguments in support of that phenomenon. The verse under comment deals with the first argument, which is, that two persons never succeed in life; the one who invents lies against God and the other who denies and rejects the truth when it is presented and preached to him. The second argument is given in the next verse.

پھر اُس شخص سے بڑا ظالم اور کون ہو گا جس نے اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھا اور جب سچائی اس کے سامنے آئی تو اُسے جھٹلا دیا کیا ایسے کافروں کے لیے جہنم میں کوئی ٹھکانا نہیں ہے؟

So who is more unjust than one who lies about Allah and denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there not in Hell a residence for the disbelievers?

پھر اس سے کون زیادہ ظالم ہے جس نے الله پرجھوٹ بولا اور سچی بات کو جھٹلایا جب اس کے پاس آئی کیا دوزخ میں کافروں کا ٹھکانا نہیں ہے
