ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ

This is the truth from thy Lord, so be thou not of those who doubt.
4:136

۞ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ قَوَّٰمِينَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ شُهَدَآءَ لِلَّهِ وَلَوْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوِ ٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ وَٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ ۚ إِن يَكُنْ غَنِيًّا أَوْ فَقِيرًا فَٱللَّهُ أَوْلَىٰ بِهِمَا ۖ فَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلْهَوَىٰٓ أَن تَعْدِلُوا۟ ۚ وَإِن تَلْوُۥٓا۟ أَوْ تُعْرِضُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
O ye who believe! be strict in observing justice, and be witnesses for Allah, even though it be against yourselves or against parents and kindred. Whether he be rich or poor, Allah is more regardful of them both than you are. Therefore follow not low desires so that you may be able to act equitably. And if you conceal the truth or evade it, then remember that Allah is well aware of what you do.
5:76

مَّا ٱلْمَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِ ٱلرُّسُلُ وَأُمُّهُۥ صِدِّيقَةٌ ۖ كَانَا يَأْكُلَانِ ٱلطَّعَامَ ۗ ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ نُبَيِّنُ لَهُمُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرْ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ

The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger; surely, Messengers like unto him had indeed passed away before him. And his mother was a truthful woman. They both used to eat food. See how We explain the Signs for their good, and see how they are turned away.
5:120

قَالَ ٱللَّهُ هَٰذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ ۚ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ۚ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

Abide (Baqa) / Righteous Will In HeavenAllah / Is Well-Pleased With Them…(Radiyallah)…Companions Of The Holy Prophet(sa)Moral Traits / TruthfulnessParadise (Jannah) / Rewards Of, For The Righteous Men And Women, The Martyrs, The (Muhajirun), The Patient, Those Who Fear Allah, The PenitentTruthful (Sadiq)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Allah will say, ‘This is a day when only the truthful shall profit by their truthfulness. For them are Gardens beneath which streams flow; therein shall they abide for ever. Allah is well pleased with them, and they are well pleased with Him; that indeed is the great triumph.’
9:119

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

O ye who believe! fear Allah and be with the truthful.
10:17

قُل لَّوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا تَلَوْتُهُۥ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَآ أَدْرَىٰكُم بِهِۦ ۖ فَقَدْ لَبِثْتُ فِيكُمْ عُمُرًا مِّن قَبْلِهِۦٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

Allah / If So Willed, (Lau Sha’allah)Moral Traits / TruthfulnessMuhammad(sa) / Truth Of

Say, ‘If Allah had so willed, I should not have recited it to you nor would He have made it known to you. I have indeed lived among you a whole lifetime before this. Will you not then understand?’
16:117

وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُكُمُ ٱلْكَذِبَ هَٰذَا حَلَٰلٌ وَهَٰذَا حَرَامٌ لِّتَفْتَرُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ

Falsehood (Batil) / Prophets Accused OfLawful (Halal)Lie (Ifk), (Kidhb), FabricationMoral Traits / LyingMoral Traits / TruthfulnessSuccess (Falah), Disbelievers, Wrongdoers Shall Not AchieveTongue (Lisan)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And say not — because of the falsehood which your tongues utter — ‘This is lawful, and this is unlawful,’ so as to forge a lie against Allah. Surely, those who forge a lie against Allah do not prosper.
17:82

وَقُلْ جَآءَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ ٱلْبَٰطِلُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلْبَٰطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا

And say, ‘Truth has come and falsehood has vanished away. Falsehood does indeed vanish away fast.’
19:42

وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَّبِيًّا

And relate the story of Abraham as mentioned in the Book. He was a truthful man and a Prophet.
22:31

ذَٰلِكَ وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ حُرُمَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ ۗ وَأُحِلَّتْ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمُ إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ ٱلرِّجْسَ مِنَ ٱلْأَوْثَٰنِ وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ قَوْلَ ٱلزُّورِ

Abomination / Indecency, Wickedness, (Khaba’ith), (Rijs)Falsehood (Batil,Zur)Flesh (Lahm) / As FoodHaram / SacredIdolators / Pagans, (Mushrikin) / Steeped In ErrorMoral Traits / DishonestyMoral Traits / LyingMoral Traits / Truthfulness

That is God’s commandment. And whoso honours the sacred things of Allah, it will be good for him with his Lord. And cattle are made lawful to you but not that which has been announced to you. Shun therefore the abomination of idols, and shun all words of untruth,
25:73

وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ ٱلزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِٱللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا۟ كِرَامًا

Believers (Mu’min) / Who Enjoin GoodDignity / HonourLaghw / VainMoral Traits / LyingMoral Traits / TruthfulnessWitnessServant / Of God

And those who bear not false witness, and when they pass by anything vain, they pass on with dignity;
33:9

لِّيَسْـَٔلَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ عَن صِدْقِهِمْ ۚ وَأَعَدَّ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

Moral Traits / TruthfulnessTruthful (Sadiq)

That He may question the truthful about their truthfulness. And for the disbelievers He has prepared a painful punishment.
33:25

لِّيَجْزِىَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ إِن شَآءَ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا

Attributes Of Allah / Al-Ghafur (Most Forgiving)Jaza’ / Recompense / Of Believers, Of RighteousMoral Traits / TruthfulnessTruthful (Sadiq)Trench / Battle Of

That Allah may reward the truthful for their truth, and punish the hypocrites if He so please, or turn to them in mercy. Verily Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.
33:36

إِنَّ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَٱلْمُسْلِمَٰتِ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ وَٱلْقَٰنِتِينَ وَٱلْقَٰنِتَٰتِ وَٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ وَٱلصَّٰدِقَٰتِ وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ وَٱلصَّٰبِرَٰتِ وَٱلْخَٰشِعِينَ وَٱلْخَٰشِعَٰتِ وَٱلْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ وَٱلْمُتَصَدِّقَٰتِ وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمِينَ وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمَٰتِ وَٱلْحَٰفِظِينَ فُرُوجَهُمْ وَٱلْحَٰفِظَٰتِ وَٱلذَّٰكِرِينَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَٱلذَّٰكِرَٰتِ أَعَدَّ ٱللَّهُ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا

Allah / Promised Forgiveness, RewardBelievers (Mu’min) / Fear AllahBelievers (Mu’min) / Who Enjoin GoodChastityEquality Of ManForgiveness (‘Afw) / Allah GrantsForgiveness (‘Afw) / PromisedJaza’ / Recompense / Of Believers, Of RighteousMoral Traits / ChastityMoral Traits / Humility, HumblenessMoral Traits / SteadfastnessMoral Traits / TruthfulnessObey / Allah, MessengerObey / Holy Prophet(sa)Patience (Sabr) / Sign Of A (Mu’min)Remember / AllahSubmitTruthful (Sadiq)Woman (Nisa’) / Equality Of
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Surely, men who submit themselves to God and women who submit themselves to Him, and believing men and believing women, and obedient men and obedient women and truthful men and truthful women, and men steadfast in their faith and steadfast women, and men who are humble and women who are humble, and men who give alms and women who give alms, and men who fast and women who fast, and men who guard their chastity and women who guard their chastity, and men who remember Allah much and women who remember Him — Allah has prepared for all of them forgiveness and a great reward.
33:71

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَقُولُوا۟ قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا

Allah / Enjoins Straight-Forward Word, (Qaul-E-Sadid)Moral Traits / TruthfulnessSin (Dhanb) / Forgiveness OfTaqwa / Fear Of God

O ye who believe! fear Allah, and say the right word.
39:4

أَلَا لِلَّهِ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلْخَالِصُ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ زُلْفَىٰٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ فِى مَا هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى مَنْ هُوَ كَٰذِبٌ كَفَّارٌ

Allah / Alone Worthy Of Sincere ObedienceFriends (Auliya’) / Of AllahGuidance / Allah Does Not Give To UnjustHakam / Allah AsIdolators / Pagans, (Mushrikin)LiarMoral Traits / TruthfulnessShirk / Justification ForMoral Traits / Sincerity
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Hearken, it is to Allah alone that sincere obedience is due. And those who take for protectors others beside Him say, ‘We serve them only that they may bring us near to Allah in station.’ Surely, Allah will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Surely, Allah guides not him who is an ungrateful liar.
39:33

۞ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَبَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلصِّدْقِ إِذْ جَآءَهُۥٓ ۚ أَلَيْسَ فِى جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ

Abode / In Hell, In Fire, (Ma’wa), (Mathwa)Allah / Who Forges Lie Against, (Iftara’)Disbelief (Kufr) / Disbeliever, (Kuffar)Disbelief (Kufr) / Punishment Of AMoral Traits / LyingMoral Traits / TruthfulnessRevelation / And False ClaimantsUnjust (Zalim)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Who, then, is more unjust than he who lies against Allah or he who rejects the truth when it comes to him? Is there not in Hell an abode for the disbelievers?
103:3

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ
