یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اٰمِنُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ وَرَسُوۡلِہٖ وَالۡکِتٰبِ الَّذِیۡ نَزَّلَ عَلٰی رَسُوۡلِہٖ وَالۡکِتٰبِ الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡزَلَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ۚ وَمَنۡ یَّکۡفُرۡ بِاللّٰہِ وَمَلٰٓئِکَتِہٖ وَکُتُبِہٖ وَرُسُلِہٖ وَالۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ ضَلٰلًۢا بَعِیۡدًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

O ye who believe! believe in Allah and His Messenger, and in the Book which He has revealed to His Messenger, and the Book which He revealed before it. And whoso disbelieves in Allah and His angels, and His Books, and His Messengers, and the Last Day, has surely strayed far away.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو! اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لے آؤ اور اس کتاب پر بھی جو اس نے اپنے رسول پر اتاری ہے اور اس کتاب پر بھی جو اس نے پہلے اتاری تھی۔ اور جو اللہ کا انکار کرے اور اس کے فرشتوں کا اور اس کی کتابوں کا اور اس کے رسولوں کا اور یومِ آخر کا تو یقیناً وہ بہت ہی دُور کی گمراہی میں بھٹک چکا ہے۔

French

Ô vous qui croyez ! Croyez en Allāh et en Son Messager, et au Livre qu’Il a révélé à Son Messager et au Livre qu’Il a révélé avant. Et quiconque ne croit pas en Allāh, en Ses anges, en Ses Livres, en Ses Messagers, et au Jour Dernier, s’est en vérité égaré bien loin.

German

O ihr Gläubigen, glaubet an Allah und Seinen Gesandten und an das Buch, das Er Seinem Gesandten herabgesandt hat, und an die Schrift, die Er zuvor herabsandte. Und wer nicht an Allah und Seine Engel und Seine Bücher und Seine Gesandten und an den Jüngsten Tag glaubt, der ist wahrlich weit irregegangen.

信者啊! 要信奉安拉、使者和他所降给其使者及其[a]以前降示的经典。[b]凡不信安拉、天使、天经、使者、末日的人, [c]他确实入了深远的迷误中。

O voi che credete! Credete in Allah e nel Suo messaggero, e nel libro che Egli ha rivelato al Suo messaggero e nel libro che Egli ha rivelato prima di questo. E chi non crede in Allah e nei Suoi angeli e nei Suoi libri e nei Suoi messaggeri e nell'Ultimo giorno, certamente ha deviato di molto.

Spanish

¡Oh vosotros, los que creéis! creed en Al-lah y en Su Mensajero, n el Libro que Él ha revelado a Su Mensajero, y en el que reveló antes de este. Pues quien no cree en Al-lah, Sus ángeles, Sus Libros, Sus Mensajeros y en el Último Día, ciertamente se ha extraviado muy lejos.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اے ایماندارو! اللہ اور اس کے رسول (پر) اور اس کتاب پر جو اس نے اپنے رسول پر اتاری ہے اور اس کتاب پر جو اس نے (اس سے) پہلے اتاری ہے ایمان لاؤ اور جو شخص اللہ اور اس کے فرشتوں اور اس کی کتابوں اور اس کے رسولوں اور بعد میں آنے والے دن کا انکار کرے تو (سمجھ لو کہ) وہ پرلے درجہ کی گمراہی میں پڑ گیا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

O ye who believe![683] believe in Allah and His Messenger, and in the Book which He has revealed to His Messenger, and [a]the Book which He revealed before it. And [b]whoso disbelieves in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers and the Last Day, [c]has surely strayed far away.

O ye who profess to be believers show by your deeds and actions that your faith is genuine and firmly founded.

O ye who believe! believe in Allah and His Messenger, and in the Book which He has revealed to His Messenger, and [a]the Book which He revealed before it. And [b]whoso disbelieves in Allah and His angels, and His Books, and His Messengers, and the Last Day, [c]has surely strayed far away.[601]

Commentary:

In the clause: O ye who believe, believe in Allah and His Messenger… the first-mentioned belief refers to lip-profession and the second to true and genuine belief which really matters. The words thus show that sometimes expressions like "O ye who believe" or "believers" may be used for those who profess to be believers in Islam but do not live up to its teachings by carrying out faithfully its precepts into practice. Their assertion is a mere lip-profession that carries no weight.

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، ایمان لاؤ اللہ پر اور اس کے رسول پر اور اس کتاب پر جو اللہ نے اپنے رسول پر نازل کی ہے اور ہر اُس کتاب پر جو اس سے پہلے وہ نازل کر چکا ہے جس نے اللہ اور اس کے ملائکہ اور اس کی کتابوں اور اس کے رسولوں اور روز آخرت سے کفر کیا وہ گمراہی میں بھٹک کر بہت دور نکل گیا

English - Sahih

O you who have believed, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray.

اے ایمان والو! الله اور اس کے رسول پر یقین لاؤ اور اس کتاب پر جو اس نے اپنے رسول پر نازل کی ہےاور اس کتاب پر جو پہلے نازل کی تھی اور جو کوئی الله کا انکار کرے اور اس کے فرشتوں کا اور اس کے رسولوں کا اور قیامت کے دن کا تو وہ شخص بڑی دور کی گمراہی میں جا پڑا

O you who believe[d]! Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the Book which He revealed upon His Messenger and the Book which He revealed from before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah and His Angels, and His Books, and His Messengers and the Day the Last, then surely he (has) lost (the) way, straying far away.
