وَإِن كُنتُمْ فِى رَيْبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَىٰ عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوا۟ بِسُورَةٍ مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ وَٱدْعُوا۟ شُهَدَآءَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

Challenge / Produce A Book Like Qur’anDisbelief (Kufr) / Challenge ToDoubt (Raib) / About Allah, Qur’anInimitability (E‘jaz)Qur’an / Excellence, Perfection Of, (Ummul-Kitab)Qur’an / From AllahServant / Of God / Holy Prophet(sa), ‘AbdullahSurahTreasureTruthful (Sadiq) / If You Are

And if you are in doubt as to what We have sent down to Our servant, then produce a Chapter like it, and call upon your helpers beside Allah, if you are truthful.
2:90

وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ كِتَٰبٌ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ وَكَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم مَّا عَرَفُوا۟ كَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ فَلَعْنَةُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

And when there came to them a Book from Allah, fulfilling that which is with them — and before that they had prayed for victory over the disbelievers — yet when there came to them that which they knew, they rejected it. The curse of Allah be on the disbelievers.
2:232

وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ سَرِّحُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ ۚ وَلَا تُمْسِكُوهُنَّ ضِرَارًا لِّتَعْتَدُوا۟ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُۥ ۚ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ هُزُوًا ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْحِكْمَةِ يَعِظُكُم بِهِۦ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

And when you divorce your wives and they approach the end of their appointed period, then either retain them in a becoming manner; or send them away in a becoming manner; but retain them not wrongfully so that you may transgress. And whoso does that, surely wrongs his own soul. And do not make a jest of the commandments of Allah, and remember the favour of Allah upon you and the Book and the Wisdom which He has sent down to you, whereby He exhorts you. And fear Allah and know that Allah knows all things well.
4:114

وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ لَهَمَّت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُضِلُّوكَ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۖ وَمَا يَضُرُّونَكَ مِن شَىْءٍ ۚ وَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ مَا لَمْ تَكُن تَعْلَمُ ۚ وَكَانَ فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ عَظِيمًا

Grace (Fadl) / Bestowed On BelieversHikmah / WisdomMercy / Allah’s MercyMercy / On Holy Prophet(sa)Muhammad(sa) / Enemies Of,Qur’an / From Allah

And but for the grace of Allah upon thee and His mercy, a party of them had resolved to bring about thy ruin. And they ruin none but themselves and they cannot harm thee at all. Allah has sent down to thee the Book and Wisdom and has taught thee what thou knewest not, and great is Allah’s grace on thee.
4:137

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَٰلًۢا بَعِيدًا

Angels (Mala’ikah) / Belief InBelief (Iman) / Of A RighteousDallin / AstrayDay Of Requital / Resurrection, (Yaumul-Qiyamah, Yaumud-Din, Yaumul-Akhirah, Yaumul-Ba‘th) / Belief InDay Of Requital / Resurrection, (Yaumul-Qiyamah, Yaumud-Din, Yaumul-Akhirah, Yaumul-Ba‘th) / Rejection OfMessengers (Rusul) / Holy Prophet(sa) As AQiyamah / Belief InQur’an / From Allah
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
O ye who believe! believe in Allah and His Messenger, and in the Book which He has revealed to His Messenger, and the Book which He revealed before it. And whoso disbelieves in Allah and His angels, and His Books, and His Messengers, and the Last Day, has surely strayed far away.
4:141

وَقَدْ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ أَنْ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ يُكْفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسْتَهْزَأُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقْعُدُوا۟ مَعَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُوا۟ فِى حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا مِّثْلُهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ جَامِعُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ فِى جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيعًا

Allah / Signs Of, (Ayatullah)Disbelief (Kufr) / Punishment Of AEtiquette / Regarding AssemblyHadith / Word, Discourse, StoryHell (Jahannam) / For Disbelievers, Hypocrites, IdolatersHypocrites (Munafiqin)Qur’an / From Allah

And He has already revealed to you in the Book that, when you hear the Signs of Allah being denied and mocked at, sit not with them until they engage in a talk other than that; for in that case you would be like them. Surely, Allah will assemble the hypocrites and the disbelievers in Hell, all together;
4:175

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَكُم بُرْهَٰنٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَأَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكُمْ نُورًا مُّبِينًا

O ye people, a manifest proof has indeed come to you from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a clear light.
7:197

إِنَّ وَلِۦِّىَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ۖ وَهُوَ يَتَوَلَّى ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

Attributes Of Allah / Al-Waliyy (The Friend, Protector)Friends (Auliya’) / Allah Is Friend, Protector, (Waliyy)Qur’an / From AllahRighteous (Salihin) / Rewarded

‘Truly, my protector is Allah Who revealed the Book. And He protects the righteous.
10:38

وَمَا كَانَ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانُ أَن يُفْتَرَىٰ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِن تَصْدِيقَ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

Doubt (Raib) / About Allah, Qur’anQur’an / And Previous ScripturesQur’an / Excellence, Perfection Of, (Ummul-Kitab)Qur’an / From AllahScriptures (Suhuf)

And this Qur’an is not such as might be devised by any one except Allah. On the contrary, it fulfils that which is before it and is an exposition of the Law of God. There is no doubt about it. It is from the Lord of the worlds.
12:4

نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْقَصَصِ بِمَآ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ وَإِن كُنتَ مِن قَبْلِهِۦ لَمِنَ ٱلْغَٰفِلِينَ

Muhammad(sa) / RevelationsQur’an / From AllahRevelation / To Holy Prophet(sa)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
We narrate unto thee the most beautiful narration by revealing to thee this Qur’an, though thou wast, before this, of those not possessed of requisite knowledge.
14:2

الٓر ۚ كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ ٱلنَّاسَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ

Abbreviations (Alif Lam Ra)Allah / Revelation Through Chosen MessengersAttributes Of Allah / Al-‘aziz (The Mighty)Attributes Of Allah / Al-Hamid (Praiseworthy)Darkness / Spiritual, (Zulumat, Lail)Light (Nur, Diya’)Mankind / Qur’an AndPermission / Leave, (Idhn) / Of AllahQur’an / From AllahStraight Path

Alif Lam Ra. This is a Book which We have revealed to thee that thou mayest bring mankind out of every kind of darkness into light, by the command of their Lord, to the path of the Mighty, the Praiseworthy —
16:45

بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَٱلزُّبُرِ ۗ وَأَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

Dhikr / Qur’an As, ReminderMankind / Holy Prophet(sa)Muhammad(sa) / And Qur’anQur’an / From AllahReflect / Ponder, (Tafakkur)Zabur / Psalms, ScripturesScriptures (Suhuf)Signs / Messengers Bring
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
We sent Our Messengers with clear Signs and Scriptures. And We have sent down to thee the Reminder that thou mayest explain to mankind that which has been sent down to them, and that they may reflect.
16:90

وَيَوْمَ نَبْعَثُ فِى كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا عَلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ ۖ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ شَهِيدًا عَلَىٰ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ۚ وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ تِبْيَٰنًا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ

Glad Tidings (Bushra)Mankind / Ummah AndMercy / Holy Qur’an As AMuslims / SubmittersQur’an / From AllahSubmit
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And remember the day when We will raise up in every people a witness against them from amongst themselves, and We will bring thee as a witness against these. And We have sent down to thee the Book to explain everything, and a guidance, and a mercy, and glad tidings to those who submit to God.
17:71

۞ وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ وَحَمَلْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ وَرَزَقْنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَفَضَّلْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقْنَا تَفْضِيلًا

Adam (Adam(as)) / Chosen Above All PeoplesAllah / Chose Above All PeoplesAllah / Provides And FeedsGrace (Fadl) / ExaltationHonour / Of ManMan / Vicegerent On EarthMankind / Allah AndQur’an / From AllahTayyib / Good Things, (Tayyibat)Travel
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Indeed, We have honoured the children of Adam, and carried them by land and sea, and given them of good things and exalted them far above many of those whom We have created.
20:3

مَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِتَشْقَىٰٓ

Curse (La‘nah) / On Who Hold (Shari‘ah) As AQur’an / From Allah

We have not sent down the Qur’an to thee that thou shouldst be distressed,
20:5

تَنزِيلًا مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ ٱلْعُلَى

Earth (Al-Ard) / Creation Of TheQur’an / From AllahQur’an / Revelation OfScience / Origin, Creation

And a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens.
25:2

تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ ٱلْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِۦ لِيَكُونَ لِلْعَٰلَمِينَ نَذِيرًا

Adoration (Sabbih), Praise, Exalt, Pray, Glorify (Sabbih), Praise, Exalt, Pray, GlorifyAttributes Of Allah / Tabarakallah (Blessed)Barakah (Blessings) / All From AllahDiscrimination (Furqan)Injustice / Wrongdoing, (Zulm)Mankind / Holy Prophet(sa)Mankind / Qur’an AndMuhammad(sa) / A WarnerMuhammad(sa) / Message OfMuhammad(sa) / Universality OfQur’an / Excellence, Perfection Of, (Ummul-Kitab)Qur’an / From AllahQur’an / Truth, Wisdom & Balance InQur’an / Universality OfServant / Of God / Holy Prophet(sa), ‘AbdullahWarner (Nadhir)

Blessed is He Who has sent down the Discrimination to His servant, that he may be a Warner to all the worlds —
25:5

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ إِفْكٌ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ وَأَعَانَهُۥ عَلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ ءَاخَرُونَ ۖ فَقَدْ جَآءُو ظُلْمًا وَزُورًا

Falsehood (Batil) / Prophets Accused OfLie (Ifk), (Kidhb), FabricationMoral Traits / JusticeMuhammad(sa) / And DisbelieversMuhammad(sa) / Objections AgainstQur’an / From AllahQur’an / Objections To

And those who disbelieve say, ‘It is naught but a lie which he has forged, and other people have helped him with it.’ Indeed, they have brought forth an injustice and an untruth.
