43:36

وَزُخْرُفًا ۚ وَإِن كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And other articles of embellishment. But all that is nothing but a temporary provision of the present life. And the Hereafter with thy Lord is for the righteous.

اور ٹھاٹھ باٹھ عطا کرتے۔ مگر یہ سب کچھ تو یقیناً محض دنیا کی زندگی کا سامان ہے اور آخرت تیرے ربّ کے حضور متقیوں کے لئے ہوگی۔

French

Et même en or. Mais tout cela n’est rien d’autre qu’une provision temporaire de la vie de ce monde. Et l’au-delà auprès de ton Seigneur est pour les pieux.

German

sogar aus Gold. Doch all das ist nichts als eine Versorgung für dieses Leben. Und das Jenseits bei deinem Herrn ist für die Rechtschaffenen.

(而且使他们的休息处具有) 甚至黄金的 (装饰)。但所有的那些东西都只是今世人生的暂时安排。[1224]而后世 (的休息) 遵照你养主的决定是特为敬畏者 (预备) 的。

人们绝不会因为消灭了方法、财产和地位的不同而成为一种类型的人, 人类社会也不会因此而停止发挥作用。安拉是可以为不信者提供银制的房屋, 其门户和阶梯是金制的, 不过在安拉看来这些东西毫无价值可言。

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

بلکہ سونے کا بنا دیتے‘ لیکن یہ سب کچھ ورلی زندگی کا سامان ہے اور آخرت (کا آرام) تیرے رب کے فیصلہ کے مطابق متقیوں کے لئے مخصوص ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And even of gold. But all that is nothing but a temporary provision of the present life.[2678] And the comfort of the Hereafter with thy Lord is for the righteous.

Were it not that by the obliteration of disparity of means, wealth and position, all men would have become of one type, and human society would have ceased to function. God would have provided disbelievers with houses made of silver, having doors and stairways made of gold, because these things possess no value or worth in His sight.

English - Five Volume Translation

And ornaments of gold. But all that is nothing but a temporary provision of the present life. And the Hereafter with thy Lord is for the righteous.[3664]

Commentary:

The verse purports to say that were it not that by the obliteration of disparity of means, wealth and position, all men would have become of one type and human society would have ceased to function, God would have provided all disbelievers with houses made of silver, having doors and stairways of silver, and would have given them couches of silver on which to recline and other ornaments of gold, because these things possess no worth or value in His sight or at the most are a temporary embellishment of this worldly life which itself is of very short duration. But the life eternal and everlasting, whose blessings will know no limitation or diminution is only for the righteous and God-fearing.

سب چاندی اور سونے کے بنوا دیتے یہ تو محض حیات دنیا کی متاع ہے، اور آخرت تیرے رب کے ہا ں صرف متقین کے لیے ہے

English - Sahih

And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous.

اور سونے کے بھی اور یہ سب کچھ دنیا کی زندگی کا سامان ہے اور آخرت آپ کے رب کے ہاں پرہیزگاروں کے لیے ہے

And ornaments of gold. And not (is) all that but an enjoyment (of) the life (of) the world. And the Hereafter with your Lord (is) for the righteous.

and ornaments; surely all this is but the enjoyment of the present life, and the world to come with thy Lord is for the godfearing.

or that they be made of gold. Surely all this is only the enjoyment of the life of the world. But (true prosperity) in the Hereafter with Your Lord is only for the God-fearing.

And ornaments of gold. But all this would have been nothing but the vanity of this world. The Hereafter with your Lord is for those who take heed for themselves and follow the straight path.
