43:50

وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَيُّهَ ٱلسَّاحِرُ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And they said, ‘O thou magician, pray for us to thy Lord, according to the covenant He has made with thee: for, then we will surely accept guidance.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور انہوں نے کہا اے جادوگر! ہمارے لئے اپنے ربّ سے وہ مانگ جس کا اس نے تجھ سے عہدکر رکھا ہے۔ یقیناً ہم ہدایت پانے والے ہو جائیں گے۔

French

Et ils dirent : « Ô toi magicien, prie ton Seigneur pour nous, suivant le pacte qu’Il a fait avec toi ; car alors nous accepterons sûrement la direction. »

German

Aber sie sprachen: "O du Zauberer, bete für uns zu deinem Herrn, gemäß dem, was Er dir verheißen, denn wir werden dann rechtgeleitet sein."

他们说: “魔术师啊! 依照他已与你所做的诺言, [d]请你为我们向你的养主祈祷吧! (如果他挡开我们的灾难, 那么,) 我们必将遵循正道。

Italian

Ed essi dicevano: «O mago, prega per noi il tuo Signore, secondo il patto che ha stipulato con te: se allontana questa sventura da noi, allora noi, per certo, seguiremo la guida.»

Spanish

Mas respondieron: “¡Mago! Ruega por nosotros, a tu Señor, según el pacto que ha establecido contigo; entonces ciertamente aceptaremos la guía”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

باوجود اس کے وہ یہی کہتے جاتے تھے کہ اے جادوگر! اپنے رب کے سامنے ہمارے حق میں ان تمام وعدوں کا واسطہ دے کر دعا کر جو (وعدے) اس نے تجھ سے کیے ہیں (اگر عذاب ٹل گیا) تو ہم ضرور ہدایت پا جائیں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And each time they said, ‘O thou sorcerer, [a]pray for us to thy Lord, according to the promise He made with thee that if He avert this evil from us, then we will, surely, follow guidance.’

7:135.

English - Five Volume Translation

And they said, ‘O thou magician, [a]pray for us to thy Lord, according to the covenant He has made with thee that if He avert this evil from us, then we will surely follow guidance.’

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

ہر عذاب کے موقع پر وہ کہتے، اے ساحر، اپنے رب کی طرف سے جو منصب تجھے حاصل ہے اُس کی بنا پر ہمارے لیے اُس سے دعا کر، ہم ضرور راہ راست پر آ جائیں گے

English - Sahih

And they said [to Moses], "O magician, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. Indeed, we will be guided."

اور انہوں نے کہا اے جادوگر اپنے رب سے ہمارے لیے اس عہد سے جو تجھ سے اس نے کیا ہے دعا کر ہم ضرور راہ پر آجائیں گے

And they said, "O [the] magician! Invoke for us your Lord by what He has made covenant with you. Indeed, we (will) surely be guided."

(Whenever they faced an affliction) they would say: “O magician, pray for us to your Lord according to your station with Him. We shall certainly be guided to the Right Way.”
