46:34

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَلَمْ يَعْىَ بِخَلْقِهِنَّ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحْۦِىَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ۚ بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Have they not seen that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth and was not wearied by their creation, has the power to give life to the dead? Yea, verily, He has power over all things.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیا اور وہ ان کی تخلیق سے تھکا نہیں ، اس بات پر قادر ہے کہ مُردوں کو زندہ کرے؟ کیوں نہیں! یقیناً وہ ہر چیز پر جسے وہ چاہے دائمی قدرت رکھتا ہے۔

French

N’ont-ils pas vu qu’Allāh, Qui a créé les cieux et la terre, et Qui n’a pas été fatigué par leur création, a le pouvoir de donner la vie aux morts ? Oui, en vérité, Il a le pouvoir de faire tout ce qu’Il veut.

German

Haben sie nicht gesehen, dass Allah, Der die Himmel und die Erde erschuf und nicht müde ward durch ihre Erschaffung, auch vermag, die Toten lebendig zu machen? Ja, wahrlich, Er vermag alle Dinge zu tun.

Chinese

他们岂不认识创造天地, 并且不因此而感到疲乏的安拉[a]有力使死者复活? 是的, 他对万物是全能的。

Non hanno visto che Allah, che ha creato i cieli e la terra, e non si è stancato nel crearli, ha il potere di ridare la vita ai morti? Sì, in verità Egli ha potere su tutte le cose.

¿No han visto acaso que Al-lah, que creó los cielos y la tierra y no se cansó con su creación, tiene el poder de dar vida a los muertos? Sí, en verdad, Él tiene poder sobre todas las cosas.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

کیا وہ نہیں دیکھتے کہ وہ خدا جس نے آسمانوں اور زمینوں کو پیدا کیا ہے اور ان کی پیدائش سے تھکا نہیں وہ اس پر بھی قادر ہے کہ مردوں کو زندہ کرے وہ اپنے ہر ارادہ کو پورا کرنے پر قادر ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Do they not realize that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth and was not wearied by their creation,[2735] [b]has the power to bring the dead to life? Yea, verily, He has power over all things.

17:100; 36:82; 86:9.

The process of the creation of new heavens and earth has not ceased. Neither is it an empty and unsubstantiated claim. With the coming of a great Divine Reformer the old order dies and a new one takes its place. This signifies the coming into being of a new heaven and a new earth.

English - Five Volume Translation

Have they not seen that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth and was not wearied by their creation, [a]has the power to give life to the dead? Yea, verily, He has power over all things.[3787]

Important Words:

لم یعی (was not wearied). عی بأمرہ means, he lacked power, strength or ability for, or was unable to perform or execute, his affair thoroughly. أعیا means, he was or became disabled or incapacitated; he was or became fatigued, tired, wearied. اعیاء is weakness and fatigue which is the result of doing a thing (Lane & Aqrab).

Commentary:

The verse means to say that the process of the creation of new heavens and earth has not ceased. Neither is it an empty and unsubstantiated claim. With the coming of a great Divine Reformer the old order dies and a new one takes its place. This signifies the coming into being of a new heaven and a new earth.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اور کیا اِن لوگوں کو یہ سجھائی نہیں دیتا کہ جس خدا نے یہ زمین اور آسمان پیدا کیے ہیں اور ان کو بناتے ہوئے جو نہ تھکا، وہ ضرور اس پر قادر ہے کہ مُردوں کو جلا اٹھائے؟ کیوں نہیں، یقیناً وہ ہر چیز کی قدرت رکھتا ہے

English - Sahih

Do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and earth and did not fail in their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yes. Indeed, He is over all things competent.

کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا جس الله نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کرنے میں نہیں تھکا اس پر قاد رہے کہ مردوں کو زندہ کردے کیوں نہیں وہ تو ہر ایک چیز پر قادر ہے

Do not they see that Allah, (is) the One Who created the heavens and the earth and (was) not tired by their creation, (is) able to give life (to) the dead? Yes, indeed He (is) on every thing All-Powerful.
