لِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا فِيهِنَّ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌۢ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is in them; and He has power over all things.

اللہ ہی کی بادشاہی ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کی اور اس کی بھی جو اُن کے اندر ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر جسے وہ چاہے دائمی قدرت رکھتا ہے۔

French

A Allāh appartiennent le royaume des cieux et de la terre, et tout ce qui s’y trouve ; et Il a le pouvoir de faire tout ce qu’Il veut.

German

Allahs ist das Königreich der Himmel und der Erde und was zwischen ihnen ist; und Er hat die Macht über all Dinge.

A Al-lah pertenece el Reino de los cielos y la tierra y todo cuanto hay en ellos; pues Él tiene poder sobre todas las cosas.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

آسمانوں اور زمین اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے اس کی بادشاہت اللہ ہی کے لئے ہے اور وہ ہر امر پر پورا (پورا) قادر ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]To Allah belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is in them; and He has power over all things.[816]

5:18, 41; 42:50; 48:15.

The verse forms a befitting sequel to this Surah in which the errors of the Christian people are effectively exposed and demolished, containing a veiled declaration that their glory will not last and God will finally transfer His Kingdom to those who are more deserving of it.

English - Five Volume Translation

[a]To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is in them; and He has power over all things.[748]

Commentary:

The verse forms a fitting sequel to a Surah in which the errors of the Christian people are effectively exposed and demolished. It also contains a veiled declaration that as Christians will set a very bad example of "belief" and "action", so their glory will not last and God will finally transfer His "kingdom" to those who are more deserving of it.

زمین اور آسمانوں اور تمام موجودات کی پادشاہی اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے

To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is within them. And He is over all things competent.
