51:60

فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذَنُوبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And for those who do wrong there is a share of comfort like the share enjoyed by their fellows of the earlier times; so let them not ask Me to hasten on the punishment.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس یقیناً اُن لوگوں کے لئے جنہوں نے ظلم کیا ظلم کی پاداش کا ویسا ہی حصّہ ہے جیسا کہ اُن کے ہم قماش لوگوں کا تھا۔ پس چاہئے کہ وہ مجھ سے (اس کی) طلب میں جلدی نہ کریں۔

Par conséquent, le sort de ceux qui font le mal sera sûrement comme le sort de leurs semblables ; donc, qu’ils ne Me demandent pas de hâter le châtiment.

Und für jene, die Unrecht tun, ist ein Los wie das Los ihrer Gefährten; möchten sie Mich darum nicht bitten (die Strafe) zu beschleunigen.

因此, 那些不义的人的命运, 肯定将和他们往时的不义的人的命运一样; 所以叫他们不要我加速 (惩罚)。

Italian

Il destino di quelli che fanno il male sarà certamente uguale al destino della loro stirpe. Non Mi chiedano quindi di affrettare il castigo.

Spanish

Ciertamente la suerte de los que hicieron el mal será similar a la de los de su género; ¡que no Me pidan, pues, que apresure el castigo!

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس جنہوں نے ظلم کیا ہے ان کے لئے بھی ویسے ہی ڈول [3]ہیں جیسا کہ ان کے ساتھیوں کے لئے ڈول تھے پس چاہیئے کہ وہ عذاب طلب کرنے کی مجھ سے جلدی نہ کریں۔

یعنی جزا و سزا۔ عربی میں جزا سزا یا حالات کے لئے ڈول کا لفظ استعمال ہوتا ہے (مفردات امام راغب)

English - Short Commentary Translation

So the fate of those who do wrong shall, surely, be like the fate[2842] of their fellows of old; so let them not challenge Me to hasten on the punishment.

Dhanub means, fate, lot, share or portion; requital; a day of prolonged evil (Lane).

English - Five Volume Translation

So the fate of those who do wrong shall surely be like the fate of their fellows of old; so let them not ask Me to hasten on the punishment.[3928]

Important Words:

ذنوب (lot) is derived from ذنب. They say ذنبه i.e. he followed his tail, not quitting his track. ذنوب means; a great bucket; a bucket full of water or nearly full of water (an empty bucket is called دلو); fate, lot, share or portion; requital. The word also signifies a day of prolonged evil (Lane & Aqrab).

Commentary:

The verse warns disbelievers that if they persisted in their evil course, they will meet with a fate similar to that of the opponents of former Prophets. Like them they will come to a sad end.

پس جن لوگوں نے ظلم کیا ہے ان کے حصے کا بھی ویسا ہی عذاب تیار ہے جیسا اِنہی جیسے لوگوں کو اُن کے حصے کا مل چکا ہے، اس کے لیے یہ لوگ جلدی نہ مچائیں

English - Sahih

And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

پس بے شک ان کے لیے جو ظالم ہیں حصہ ہے جیسا کہ ان کے ساتھیوں کا حصہ تھا تو وہ مجھ سے جلدی کا مطالبہ نہ کریں

English - Talal Itani

So indeed, for those who do wrong, (is) a portion like (the) portion (of) their companions, so let them not ask Me to hasten.

Chinese Commentary ^*

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

یعنی جزا و سزا۔ عربی میں جزا سزا یا حالات کے لئے ڈول کا لفظ استعمال ہوتا ہے (مفردات امام راغب)

The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me!

The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me.

Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment).

For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)!
