وَلَقَدۡ اَنۡذَرَہُمۡ بَطۡشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوۡا بِالنُّذُرِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And he indeed had warned them of Our punishment, but they doubted the warning.

اور اُس نے بھی ان کو ہماری پکڑ سے ڈرایا تھا پھر بھی وہ اِنذار کے بارہ میں متردِد رہے۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور اس (لوط) نے ان کو ہمارے عذاب کی پہلے سے خبر دے دی تھی۔ لیکن وہ نبیوں سے بحث کرنے لگ گئے۔
