وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلْوَزْنَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا۟ ٱلْمِيزَانَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So weigh all things in justice and fall not short of the measure.

اور وزن کو انصاف کے ساتھ قائم کرو اور تول میں کوئی کمی نہ کرو۔

اور وزن کو انصاف کے ساتھ قائم کرو‘ اور تول کو کم نہ کرو۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

So weigh all things with justice and [a]fall not short of the measure.

Commentary:

As there is an all-comprehensive harmony in the whole universe, so is man—the crown and object of creation—enjoined to maintain a just balance and to treat with equity and justice his fellow beings, giving, every one his due, and to avoid extremes, and follow the golden mean in the discharge of his duties towards his Creator. This is the significance of the expressions, "you may not transgress the measure" and "fall not short of measure."

انصاف کے ساتھ ٹھیک ٹھیک تولو اور ترازو میں ڈنڈی نہ مارو

And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.
