65:7
أَسْكِنُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنتُم مِّن وُجْدِكُمْ وَلَا تُضَآرُّوهُنَّ لِتُضَيِّقُوا۟ عَلَيْهِنَّ ۚ وَإِن كُنَّ أُو۟لَٰتِ حَمْلٍ فَأَنفِقُوا۟ عَلَيْهِنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ ۚ فَإِنْ أَرْضَعْنَ لَكُمْ فَـَٔاتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ ۖ وَأْتَمِرُوا۟ بَيْنَكُم بِمَعْرُوفٍ ۖ وَإِن تَعَاسَرْتُمْ فَسَتُرْضِعُ لَهُۥٓ أُخْرَىٰ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Lodge them during the prescribed period in the houses wherein you dwell, according to the best of your means; and harass them not that you may create hardships for them. And if they be with child, spend on them until they are delivered of their burden. And if they give suck to the child for you, give them their recompense, and consult with one another in kindness; but if you meet with difficulty from each other, then another woman shall suckle the child for him (the father).
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اُن کو سکونت مہیا کرو جہاں تم (خود) اپنی حیثیت کے مطابق رہتے ہو اور انہیں تکلیف نہ پہنچاؤ تاکہ ان پر زندگی تنگ کردو۔ اور اگر وہ حمل والیاں ہوں تو ان پر خرچ کرتے رہو یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنے حمل سے فارغ ہو جائیں۔ پھر اگر وہ تمہاری خاطر دودھ پلائیں تو ان کی اُجرت انہیں دو اور اپنے درمیان معروف کے مطابق موافقت کا ماحول پیدا کرو اور اگر تم ایک دوسرے سے (معاملہ فہمی میں) تنگی محسوس کرو تو اُس (باپ) کے لئے کوئی دوسری (دودھ پلانے والی) دودھ پلا ئے۔
French
Logez-les pendant la période prescrite dans les maisons où vous demeurez, le mieux possible selon vos moyens ; et ne les tourmentez pas pour leur rendre la vie difficile. Et si elles sont enceintes, dépensez pour elles jusqu’à ce qu’elles soient délivrées de leur fardeau. Et si elles allaitent l’enfant pour vous, donnez-leur leur récompense, et décidez de vos affaires ensemble en vous consultant l’un l’autre d’une façon juste ; mais si vous rencontrez des difficultés entre vous, alors une autre femme allaitera l’enfant pour lui - le père.

Lasset sie (während der Frist) in den Häusern wohnen, in denen ihr wohnt, gemäß euren Mitteln; und tut ihnen nichts zuleide in der Absicht, es ihnen schwer zu machen. Und wenn sie schwanger sind, so bestreitet ihren Unterhalt, bis sie sich ihrer Bürde entledigt haben. Und wenn sie (das Kind) für euch säugen, gebt ihnen ihren Lohn und beratet euch freundlich miteinander; wenn ihr aber (damit) Verlegenheit füreinander schafft, dann soll eine andere (das Kind) für den (Vater) säugen.

Date loro alloggio durante il periodo prescritto nelle case in cui voi abitate, nel modo migliore secondo i vostri mezzi, e non tormentatele per non causare loro difficoltà obbligandole così ad andarsene. E se sono gravide, spendete per esse finché abbiano partorito. E se stanno allattando il bambino per voi, date loro la dovuta ricompensa, e decidete le vostre cose consultandovi a vicenda con giustizia. Ma se incontrate difficoltà, allora un'altra donna allatterà il bambino per lui (il padre).

Alojadlas durante el período prescrito en las viviendas en las que habitáis, de acuerdo con lo mejor de vuestros medios, y no las molestéis a fin de no crearles dificultades indebidas. Y si estuviesen embarazadas, gastad en ellas hasta que queden libres de su carga. Y si os amamantan al hijo, dadles su recompensa y decidid vuestros asuntos mediante mutua consulta y con justicia. Pero si ncontráis dificultades entre ambos, que otra mujer amamante al niño para él (el padre).
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
(اے مسلمانو! مطلقہ عورتوں کے حق کو نہ بھولو) ان کو وہیں رکھو جہاں تم اپنی طاقت کے مطابق رہتے ہو۔ اور ان کو کسی قسم کا ضرر نہ دو اس لئے کہ ان کو تنگ کرکے (گھر سے) نکال دو۔ اور اگر وہ حمل والی ہوں‘ تو اس وقت تک ان پر خرچ کرو جب تک وضع حمل ہو جائے اور اگر وہ تمہارے لئے بچوں کو دودھ پلائیں‘ تو ان کو معقول اجرت دو اور اس کا فیصلہ حسب دستور باہمی مشورہ سے کرو اور اگر آپس میں کسی فیصلہ پر اکٹھے نہ ہو سکو تو کوئی اور عورت اس بچے کو دودھ پلائے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
Lodge the divorced women during the prescribed period in the houses wherein you dwell, according to your means,[3068A] and harass them not that you may create hardships for them and thus force them to leave. And if they be with child, spend on them until they are delivered of their burden. [a]And if they give suck to the child for you, give them their due recompense, to be fixed in consultation with one another according to what is customary; but if you meet with difficulty from each other, then let another woman suckle the child for the father.

In her ‘Iddah a divorced woman is to be looked after by the husband with the same care and consideration as when she was the mistress of his house, according to the best of his means, till she leaves the house and is free to adopt the way of life she chooses.
English - Five Volume Translation
Lodge divorced women during the prescribed period in the houses wherein you dwell, according to the best of your means; and harass them not that you may create hardships for them. And if they be with child, spend on them until they are delivered of their burden. [b]And if they give suck to the child for you, give them their due recompense, and consult together in kindness; but if you meet with difficulty from each other, then another woman shall suckle the child for him (the father).[4273]

Important Words:
وجد کم (your best means) is derived from وجد which means, he found or he got. The three forms of the word وجد i.e. wajdun or wijdun or wujdun mean the same thing i.e. ampleness of means; capacity; riches or wealth. They say ھذا من وجدیi.e. it is within my capacity. (Lane & Aqrab).
Commentary:
In this verse all the possible needs of a divorced woman have been adequately met. In her ‘iddah a divorced woman is to be looked after by the husband with the same care and consideration as when she was the mistress of his house, according to the best of his means, till she leaves the house and is free to adopt the way of life she chooses.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
اُن کو (زمانہ عدت میں) اُسی جگہ رکھو جہاں تم رہتے ہو، جیسی کچھ بھی جگہ تمہیں میسر ہو اور انہیں تنگ کرنے کے لیے ان کو نہ ستاؤ اور اگر وہ حاملہ ہوں تو ان پر اُس وقت تک خرچ کرتے رہو جب تک ان کا وضع حمل نہ ہو جائے پھر اگر وہ تمہارے لیے (بچے کو) دودھ پلائیں تو ان کی اجرت انہیں دو، اور بھلے طریقے سے (اجرت کا معاملہ) باہمی گفت و شنید سے طے کر لو لیکن اگر تم نے (اجرت طے کرنے میں) ایک دوسرے کو تنگ کیا تو بچے کو کوئی اور عورت دودھ پلا لے گی
English - Sahih
Lodge them [in a section] of where you dwell out of your means and do not harm them in order to oppress them. And if they should be pregnant, then spend on them until they give birth. And if they breastfeed for you, then give them their payment and confer among yourselves in the acceptable way; but if you are in discord, then there may breastfeed for the father another woman.

طلاق دی ہوئی عورتوں کو وہیں رکھو جہاں تم اپنے مقدور کے موافق رہتے ہو اورانہیں ایذا نہ دو انہیں تنگ کرنے کے لیے اور اگر وہ حاملہ ہوں تو انہیں نان ونفقہ دو جب تک وہ وضع حمل کریں پس اگر پلائيں دودھ تمہارے لیے تو دو ان کو ان کی اجرت دو اور آپس میں دستور کے مطابق مشورہ کر لو اور اگر تم آپس میں تنگی کرو تو اس کے لیے دوسری عورت دودھ پلائے گی

Lodge them from where you dwell, (out) of your means and (do) not harm them to distress [on] them. And if they are those (who are) pregnant, then spend on them until they deliver their burden. Then if they suckle for you, then give them their payment, and consult among yourselves with kindness, but if you disagree, then may suckle for him another (women).

Lodge them where you are lodging, according to your means, and do not press them, so as to straiten their circumstances. If they are with child, expend upon them until they bring forth their burden. If they suckle for you, give them their wages, and consult together honourably. If you both make difficulties, another woman shall suckle for him.

(During the waiting period) lodge them according to your means wherever you dwell, and do not harass them to make them miserable. And if they are pregnant, provide for them maintenance until they have delivered their burden. And if they suckle your offspring whom they bore you, then give them due recompense, and graciously settle the question of compensation between yourselves by mutual understanding. But if you experience difficulty (in determining the compensation for suckling) then let another woman suckle the child.

Let the women live (in 'iddat) in the same style as ye live, according to your means: Annoy them not, so as to restrict them. And if they carry (life in their wombs), then spend (your substance) on them until they deliver their burden: and if they suckle your (offspring), give them their recompense: and take mutual counsel together, according to what is just and reasonable. And if ye find yourselves in difficulties, let another woman suckle (the child) on the (father's) behalf.
