فَعَصَوْا۟ رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَهُمْ أَخْذَةً رَّابِيَةً

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And they disobeyed the Messenger of their Lord, therefore He seized them — a severe seizing.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس اُنہوں نے اپنے ربّ کے رسول کی نافرمانی کی تو اُس نے انہیں ایک سخت سے سخت تر ہونے والی گرفت میں پکڑ لیا۔

French

Et ils désobéirent au Messager de leur Seigneur ; alors Il les saisit d’une étreinte qui continue à se resserrer.

German

und sie waren widerspenstig gegen den Gesandten ihres Herrn, darum erfasste Er sie mit würgendem Griff.

他们违背了他们养主的使者, 所以他以不断增加的严刑[a]惩治了他们。

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(اور انہوں نے (بھی قصور کیے تھے اور) اپنے رب کے رسول کی نافرمانی کی تھی۔ پس ان کو بھی اللہ نے ایک ایسے عذاب سے پکڑا جو بڑھتا چلا جاتا تھا‘ (اور بہت سخت تھا)

They disobeyed the Messenger of their Lord, therefore, He [a]seized them—a severe seizing.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

ان سب نے اپنے رب کے رسول کی بات نہ مانی تو اُس نے اُن کو بڑی سختی کے ساتھ پکڑا

English - Sahih

And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity].

پس انہوں نے اپنے رب کے رسول کی نافرمانی کی تو الله نے انہیں سخت پکڑ لیا
