فَاَخَذَتۡہُمُ الرَّجۡفَۃُ فَاَصۡبَحُوۡا فِیۡ دَارِہِمۡ جٰثِمِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So the earthquake seized them and in their homes they lay prostrate upon the ground.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تو انہیں (بھی) ایک سخت زلزلہ نے آپکڑا پس وہ اپنے گھروں میں اوندھے منہ جاگرے۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس ان کو ایک زلزلہ نے پکڑ لیا اور وہ اپنے گھروں میں گھٹنوں کے بل گرنے کی حالت میں پڑے رہے۔

The people of Shu‘aib were destroyed by an earthquake probably in the early morning.

مگر ہوا یہ کہ ایک دہلا دینے والی آفت نے اُن کو آ لیا اور وہ اپنے گھروں میں اوندھے پڑے کے پڑے رہ گئے
