70:43

فَذَرۡہُمۡ یَخُوۡضُوۡا وَیَلۡعَبُوۡا حَتّٰی یُلٰقُوۡا یَوۡمَہُمُ الَّذِیۡ یُوۡعَدُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So leave them alone to indulge in idle talk and play until they meet that day of theirs which they are promised,

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس اُنہیں چھوڑ دے، وہ فضول باتوں میں غرق رہیں اور کھیلیں کھیلتے رہیں یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنے اُس دن کو دیکھ لیں جس کا اُنہیں وعدہ دیا جاتا ہے۔

Laisse-les donc à leurs vains discours, s’amuser jusqu’à ce qu’ils rencontrent ce jour des leurs qui leur est promis,

So lass sie nur in eitler Rede sich ergehen und sich vergnügen, bis sie ihrem Tag begegnen, der ihnen angedroht ward,

[b]任由他们耽溺于空谈和戏谑, 直到他们看到他们所应许的日子。

Italian

Lasciali soli, dunque, a compiacersi di chiacchiere inutili e passatempi, finché verrà per loro il giorno che è stato loro promesso,

Dejadles, pues, solos, dedicados a sus juegos y charlas vanas, hasta que se encuentren con ese día que se les ha prometido.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس تو ان کو چھوڑ دے کہ یہ سچائی کو گدلا کرتے رہیں اور ہنسی کھیل میں مبتلا رہیں اس وقت تک کہ وہ اس دن کو دیکھ لیں جس کا ان سے وعدہ کیا جاتا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]So leave them alone to indulge in idle talk and to sport until they meet that day of theirs which they are promised,

[a]So leave them alone to indulge in idle talk and play until they meet that day of theirs which they are promised,[4383]

23:55; 43:84; 52:46.

Commentary:

The expression, "that day of theirs which they are promised," means the day of the final triumph of Islam in Arabia and the complete defeat and discomfiture of disbelief—the day of the Fall of Mecca.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

لہٰذا اِنہیں اپنی بیہودہ باتوں اور اپنے کھیل میں پڑا رہنے دو یہاں تک کہ یہ اپنے اُس دن تک پہنچ جائیں جس کا ان سے وعدہ کیا جا رہا ہے

So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised -

پھر انہیں چھوڑ دو کہ وہ بیہودہ باتوں اور کھیل میں لگے رہیں یہاں تک کہ وہ دن دیکھ لیں جس کا ان سے وعدہ کیا جاتا ہے
