71:5

یَغۡفِرۡ لَکُمۡ مِّنۡ ذُنُوۡبِکُمۡ وَیُؤَخِّرۡکُمۡ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی ۚ اِنَّ اَجَلَ اللّٰہِ اِذَا جَآءَ لَا یُؤَخَّرُ ۖ لَوۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

‘He will forgive you your sins and grant you respite till an appointed time. Verily the time appointed by Allah cannot be put back when it comes, if only you knew!’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

وہ تمہارے گناہ معاف کردےگا اور ایک معیّن مدت تک مُہلت دے گا۔ یقیناً اللہ کا (مقرر کردہ) وقت جب آجاتا ہے تو وہ ٹالا نہیں جا سکتا۔ کاش تم جانتے۔

French

Il vous pardonnera vos péchés, et vous accordera un répit jusqu’à un terme désigné. En vérité le terme fixé par Allāh ne peut pas être différé lorsqu’il vient, si seulement vous saviez ! »

German

Er wird euch eure Sünden vergeben und euch Aufschub gewähren bis zu einer bestimmten Frist. Wahrlich, Allahs Frist, wenn sie herankommt, kann nicht verschoben werden – wenn ihr es nur wüsstet!"

Chinese

“他将宽恕你们的罪过, 并赐予你们延缓直到一个定期。当[b]安拉的定期一旦到来时,[1494]那将不再被延缓, 要是你们知道, 多么好啊!”

63:12.

当安拉的指令真正生效的时候, 悔悟是没有用的。

Italian

Egli perdonerà i vostri peccati e vi concederà una tregua fino al termine stabilito. In verità, il termine stabilito da Allah non può essere rimandato, quando viene. Se solo sapeste!»

Spanish

“Él os perdonará vuestros pecados y os concederá un respiro hasta el momento fijado. En verdad, el momento fijado por Al-lah no podrá retrasarse cuando llegue, ¡ojalá lo supierais!”

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

وہ تمہارے گناہوں کو معاف کرے گا اور تم کو ایک وقت مقررہ تک مہلت دے گا اور اگر تم جانتے ہو (تو سمجھ لو کہ) یقیناً (کسی قوم کی تباہی کے لئے) خدا کی مقرر کردہ گھڑی جب آجائے تو اسے ٹالا نہیں جا سکتا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

‘He will forgive you your sins and grant you respite till an appointed time.’ Verily, the [b]time appointed by Allah cannot be put off when it comes,[3130] if only you knew.’

63:12.

When a Divine decree actually comes in operation, repentance is of no use.

English - Five Volume Translation

He will forgive you your sins and grant you respite till an appointed time. [e]Verily, the time appointed by Allah cannot be put back when it comes, if only you knew!’[4388]

63:12.

Commentary:

When a Divine decree of punishment is in active operation, repentance is of no use.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اللہ تمہارے گناہوں سے درگزر فرمائے گا اور تمہیں ایک وقت مقرر تک باقی رکھے گا حقیقت یہ ہے کہ اللہ کا مقرر کیا ہوا وقت جب آ جاتا ہے تو پھر ٹالا نہیں جاتا کاش تمہیں اِس کا علم ہو"

English - Sahih

Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew.' "

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

وہ تمہارے لیے تمہارے گناہ بخش دے گا اور تمہیں ایک وقت مقرر تک مہلت دے گا بے شک الله کا وقت ٹھیرایا ہوا ہے جب آجائے گا تو اس میں تاخیر نہ ہوگی کا ش تم جانتے

English - Talal Itani

He will forgive for you [of] your sins and give you respite for a term specified. Indeed, (the) term, (of) Allah, when it comes not is delayed, if you know."

and He will forgive you your sins, and defer you to a stated term; God's term, when it comes, cannot be deferred, did you but know."'

He will forgive your sins and will grant you respite until an appointed term. Indeed when Allah's appointed term comes, it cannot be deferred; if you only knew!”

That He may forgive some of your sins and prolong your term till an appointed time. Surely when God's appointed time is come it will not be put off, if only you knew!
