قرآن کریم کے الفاظ میں لَنْ نَّزِیْدَکُمْ اِلاَّ عَذَاباً۔ ہم تک کو عذاب کے سوا کسی چیز میں زیادہ نہیں کریں گے۔ اس کو بامحاورہ اردو میں لکھا جائے تو یہی کہہ سکتے ہیں کہ ہم تم کو عذاب کے بعد عذاب دیتے جائیں گے۔ کیونکہ اس صورت میں عذاب زیادہ ہوجاتا ہے۔
Commentary:
Divine punishment will continue to dog the footsteps of disbelievers. Punishments in various forms will be inflicted upon them one after the other. This is the meaning of the words: "We will give you no increase except in torment."
