وَاِذَا مَاۤ اُنۡزِلَتۡ سُوۡرَۃٌ فَمِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ یَّقُوۡلُ اَیُّکُمۡ زَادَتۡہُ ہٰذِہٖۤ اِیۡمٰنًا ۚ فَاَمَّا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا فَزَادَتۡہُمۡ اِیۡمٰنًا وَّہُمۡ یَسۡتَبۡشِرُوۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And whenever a Surah is sent down, there are some of them who say: ‘Which of you has this Surah increased in faith?’ But, as to those who believe, it increases their faith and they rejoice.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور جب بھی کوئی سورت اتاری جاتی ہے تو ان میں سے کچھ لوگ ہیں جو کہتے ہیں کہ تم میں سے کون ہے جسے اس (سورت) نے ایمان میں بڑھا دیا ہو۔ پس وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے ہیں انہیں تو اس نے ایمان میں بڑھا دیا ہے اور وہ (آئندہ کے متعلق) خوشخبریاں حاصل کرتے ہیں۔
French
Et toutes les fois qu’une sourate est révélée, certains d’entre eux disent : « Quel est celui d’entre vous dont elle augmente la foi ? » Mais pour ceux qui croient, elle augmente leur foi et ils s’ en réjouissent.

Sooft eine Sura herabgesandt wird, gibt es unter ihnen welche, die sprechen: "Wen von euch hat sie im Glauben bestärkt?" Die aber gläubig sind, die stärkt sie in ihrem Glauben, und sie freuen sich dessen.

每当下降一章 (经典) 时, 他们有些人 (伪信者) 便说: “这 (章经典) 使你们中谁的信仰增加了呢?” (要记着), [e]凡 (原) 是信仰者, (由于他们先前信仰的结果) 这章经文更增加了他们的信仰, 他们是快乐的。

E ogni qualvolta una Sūrah vi viene mandata, ci sono alcuni di loro che dicono: «A chi di voi questa Sūrah ha accresciuto la fede?» Ma a quelli che credono, accresce la fede e ne gioiscono.

Pues siempre que se revela un Surah, hay alguno de ellos que dice: “¿A cuál de vosotros ha aumentado en la fe este Surah? Pero en lo que respecta a los creyentes, aumenta su fe y se alegran por ello.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور جب کبھی کوئی سورۃ نازل ہوتی ہے تو ان میں سے بعض (منافق) کہتے ہیں کہ اس (سورۃ) نے تم میں سے کس کا ایمان بڑھایا ہے؟ سو (یاد رکھو کہ) جو لوگ مومن ہیں (ان کے پہلے ایمان کے نتیجہ میں) ان کے ایمان کو اس (سورۃ) نے بڑھایا ہے اور وہ خوشی حاصل کر رہے ہیں۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And whenever a Surah is sent down, there are some of them who say: ‘Which of you has this Surah increased in faith?’ But as to [c]those who believe, it increases their faith and they rejoice.

And whenever a Surah is sent down, there are some of them who say: ‘Which of you has this Surah increased in faith?’ But [a]those who believe have their faith increased thereby and they rejoice.[1271]

Commentary:
The question, which of you has this Surah increased in faith, refers to the contention of the hypocrites that the Quranic Surahs increase none in faith. This objection of the hypocrites is answered in the words that follow.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
جب کوئی نئی سورت نازل ہوتی ہے تو ان میں سے بعض لوگ (مذاق کے طور پر مسلمانوں سے) پوچھتے ہیں کہ "کہو، تم میں سے کس کے ایمان میں اس سے اضافہ ہوا؟" (اس کا جواب یہ ہے کہ) جو لوگ ایمان لائے ہیں ان کے ایمان میں تو فی الواقع (ہر نازل ہونے والی سورت نے) اضافہ ہی کیا ہے اور وہ اس سے دلشاد ہیں
English - Sahih
And whenever a surah is revealed, there are among the hypocrites those who say, "Which of you has this increased faith?" As for those who believed, it has increased them in faith, while they are rejoicing.

اور جب کوئی سورت نازل ہوتی ہے تو ان میں سے بعض کہتے ہیں کہ اس سورت نےتم میں سے کس کے ایمان کو بڑھایا ہے سو جو لوگ ایمان والے ہیں اس سورت نے ان کے ایمان کو بڑھایا ہے اور وہ خوش ہوتے ہیں

And whenever is revealed a Surah, among them (are some) who say, "Which of you (has) increased [it] (by) this (in) faith?" As for those who believe then it has increased them (in) faith and they rejoice.

Whenever a sura is sent down to thee, some of them say, 'Which of you has this increased in belief?' As for the believers, them it has increased in belief, and they are joyful.
English - Maududi
And whenever a new surah is revealed some of the hypocrites ask the believers (in jest): "Whose faith has increased because of this?" As for those who believe, it will certainly increase their faith, and they are joyful over that.
