وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ
اَلْمَاعُوْن (Al-Ma‘un) 的意思是: 普通的小件家用物品, 如斧头、煮饭的锅子等; 善举; 任何有用的东西; 天课 (اَقْرَبْ, Aqrab)。
یعنی اس کا دل ایسا سخت ہو جاتا تھا کہ غریبوں کو عَارِیَۃً چیز دینے سے بھی گریز کرنے لگ جاتا تھا۔ اور لوگوں کو بھی کہتا تھا کہ غریبوں کو کوئی چیز عَارِیَۃً نہ دیا کرو۔
