English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
She said, ‘Surely, kings, when they enter a country, despoil it, and turn the highest of its people into the lowest. And thus will they do.

The Queen explains to her ministers and nobles the dangers of offering opposition to Solomon.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
(اے ہدہد)! تو ان کی طرف لوٹ جا اور (ان سے کہدے کہ) میں ایک بڑے لشکر کے ساتھ ان کے پاس آؤں گا ایسا لشکر کہ اس کے مقابلہ کی ان کو طاقت نہ ہوگی اورمیں ان کو اس (ملک) سے (مفتوح ہونے کے بعد) ایسی حالت میں نکال دوں گا کہ (وہ بادشاہت کی)[1] عزت کھوچکے ہوں گے۔
ھُمْ صَاغِرُوْنَ یعنی جب وہ بادشاہت کی عزت کو کھو بیٹھیں گے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
‘Go back to them, for we shall surely come to them with hosts against which they will have no power of resistance,[2170] and we shall drive them out of their land disgraced, and they will be humbled.’
Qibal means, power, strength, authority. They say mali bihi Qibalun, i.e. I have no power against him (Aqrab).

قبل (power) is derived from قبل (qabala). They say قبل علی الشیء i.e. he took to the thing and stuck to it.
قبل المکان means, he came to the place. قبل (qibalun) means, side, direction, presence; power, strength, authority. They say مالی به قبل i.e. there is no power for me against him, أتانی من قبله means, he came to me from his presence or his direction (Aqrab).

(اے سفیر) واپس جا اپنے بھیجنے والوں کی طرف ہم ان پر ایسے لشکر لے کر آئیں گے جن کا مقابلہ وہ نہ کر سکیں گے اور ہم انہیں ایسی ذلت کے ساتھ وہاں سے نکالیں گے کہ وہ خوار ہو کر رہ جائیں گے"
