اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ہم نے اس بستی کے (واقعہ) کے ذریعہ سے ایک کھلی عبرت کا سامان عقل والے لوگوں کے لئے پیچھے چھوڑا ہے ۔

اور ہم نے اُس بستی کی ایک کھُلی نشانی چھوڑ دی ہے اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو عقل سے کام لیتے ہیں

And We have certainly left of it a sign as clear evidence for a people who use reason.

اور ہم نے اس واقعہ کو ایک نشان کے طور پر (پچھلی اقوام کے لئے) چھوڑا[1]۔ پس کیا کوئی نصیحت حاصل کرنے والا ہے؟

قریباً دنیا کی سب اقوام کی تاریخ میں ایک ایسے سیلاب کا ذکر آتا ہے جو دنیا کے بڑے حصہ پر آیا۔ اور نوحؑ کے طوفان کے مشابہ تھا۔

[e]And We left it as a Sign for the succeeding generations. But is there anyone who would take heed?

29:16.

Important Words:

مدکر (who would take heed) is act. part. from ادکر (iddakara) which is synonymous with تذکر، ذکر (tadhakkara) and اذکر (idhdhakara) meaning, he remembered or became reminded of; he took heed, reflected or was mindful. مدکر means, one who would take heed, reflect and be mindful (Lane & Aqrab).

اُس کشتی کو ہم نے ایک نشانی بنا کر چھوڑ دیا، پھر کوئی ہے نصیحت قبول کرنے والا؟
