قَالُوۡا طٰٓئِرُکُمۡ مَّعَکُمۡ ۚ اَئِنۡ ذُکِّرۡتُمۡ ۚ بَلۡ اَنۡتُمۡ قَوۡمٌ مُّسۡرِفُوۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
They replied, ‘Your evil fortune is with your own selves. Is it because you have been admonished? Nay, you are a people transgressing all bounds.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
انہوں نے کہا تمہاری بدشگونی تو تمہارے ہی ساتھ ہے۔ کیا اگر تمہیں اچھی طرح نصیحت کردی جائے (تو پھر بھی انکار کردوگے؟)۔ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ تم تو حد سے گزر جانے والے لوگ ہو۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
انہوں نے کہا کہ تمہارا عمل[2] تو تمہارے ساتھ ہے (تم جہاں بھی ہوگے تمہارے عملوں کا بدنتیجہ نکلتا رہے گا) کیا تم یہ بات اس لئے کہتے ہو کہ ہم تم کو اچھے کام یاد دلاتے ہیں بلکہ حق یہ ہے کہ تم حد سے گذرنے والی قوم ہو (اس لئے لازما سزا پاؤ گے)

رسولوں نے جواب دیا "تمہاری فال بد تو تمہارے اپنے ساتھ لگی ہوئی ہے کیا یہ باتیں تم اِس لیے کرتے ہو کہ تمہیں نصیحت کی گئی؟ اصل بات یہ ہے کہ تم حد سے گزرے ہوئے لوگ ہو"
