وَنَصَرْنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And We helped him against the people who rejected Our Signs. They were surely a wicked people; so We drowned them all.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور ہم نے اُس کی اُن لوگوں کے مقابل مدد کی جنہوں نے ہماری آیات کو جھٹلا دیا تھا۔ یقیناً وہ ایک بڑی بدی میں مبتلا لوگ تھے پس ہم نے ان سب کو غرق کر دیا۔

Et Nous l’aidâmes contre le peuple qui avait rejeté Nos Signes. Ils étaient assurément un peuple impie ; Nous les noyâmes donc tous.

اور ہم نے اس کی اس قوم کے مقابلہ میں مدد کی جس نے ہماری نشانیوں کو جھٹلایا تھا۔ وہ بہت بری قوم تھی پس ہم نے ان سب کو غرق کر دیا۔

Commentary:
The words من القوم literally meaning "from the people" really mean "against the people", the particle من having been used here in the sense of علی i.e. over; against.

اور اُس قوم کے مقابلے میں اُس کی مدد کی جس نے ہماری آیات کو جھٹلا دیا تھا وہ بڑے بُرے لوگ تھے، پس ہم نے ان سب کو غرق کر دیا
