اَوۡ تُسۡقِطَ السَّمَآءَ کَمَا زَعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡنَا کِسَفًا اَوۡ تَاۡتِیَ بِاللّٰہِ وَالۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃِ قَبِیۡلًا
اس کی تشریح سورۂ سبا آیت۱۰ سے ہو جاتی ہے جس سے ظاہر ہے کہ اس کے معنے عذاب کے ہیں۔
Commentary:
Disbelievers mockingly told the Holy Prophet, that, if he could not bring to them any of the good things which they demanded he might as well cause the sky to fall upon them or let God and His angels destroy them.

اس کی تشریح سورۂ سبا آیت۱۰ سے ہو جاتی ہے جس سے ظاہر ہے کہ اس کے معنے عذاب کے ہیں۔

Commentary:
Disbelievers mockingly told the Holy Prophet, that, if he could not bring to them any of the good things which they demanded he might as well cause the sky to fall upon them or let God and His angels destroy them.
فَاَسۡقِطۡ عَلَیۡنَا کِسَفًا مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ اِنۡ کُنۡتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِیۡنَ
سَمَآءٌ کے معنے عربی زبان میں بادل کے بھی ہیں اور آسمان کے بھی۔ آج کل ہندو پاکستان میں اس قسم کے عذاب کثرت سے آرہے ہیں اور بارشیں ہیں کہ تھمتی ہی نہیں۔

اَللّٰہُ الَّذِیۡ یُرۡسِلُ الرِّیٰحَ فَتُثِیۡرُ سَحَابًا فَیَبۡسُطُہٗ فِی السَّمَآءِ کَیۡفَ یَشَآءُ وَیَجۡعَلُہٗ کِسَفًا فَتَرَی الۡوَدۡقَ یَخۡرُجُ مِنۡ خِلٰلِہٖ ۖ فَاِذَاۤ اَصَابَ بِہٖ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِہٖۤ اِذَا ہُمۡ یَسۡتَبۡشِرُوۡنَ

یعنی ایک بادل کے کئی بادل بنا دیتا ہے۔ تا ایک لمبے علاقہ کو سیراب کر سکیں۔

The words "We will make the earth sink with them" refer to the signs of the earth; and the words "or cause to fall upon them a portion of the heaven" allude to heavenly signs. Undoubtedly, the manner in which the forces of darkness and disbelief were put to rout in their combat against Islam showed that the victory of Islam was due solely to Divine help and succour which came to Muslims in the nick of time.
