English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And Pharaoh said: ‘Leave me alone that I may kill Moses; and let him call on his Lord. I fear lest he should change your religion or cause disorder to show itself in the land.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور فرعون نے کہا مجھے ذرا چھوڑو کہ میں موسیٰ کو قتل کروں اور وہ اپنے رب کو پکارے۔ یقیناً میں ڈرتا ہوں کہ وہ تمہارا دین بدل دے گا یا زمین میں فساد پھیلا دے گا۔

Et Pharaon dit : « Laissez-moi afin que je tue Moïse ; et qu’il invoque son Seigneur. Je crains qu’il ne change votre religion, ou qu’il n’inonde le pays de désordre et de corruption. »

Und Pharao sprach: "Lasset mich, ich will Moses töten; und lasst ihn seinen Herrn anrufen. Ich fürchte, er möchte sonst euren Glauben ändern oder Unfrieden im Land stiften."

E Faraone disse: «Lasciatemi perché possa uccidere Mosè, e lasciatelo invocare il suo Signore. Temo che possa cambiare la vostra religione o causare di disordine nel paese.»

El Faraón dijo: “Dejadme sólo para que mate a Moisés. Y dejadle que invoque a su Señor. Temo que vaya a cambiar vuestra religión o inunde la tierra con el desorden y la corrupción”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور فرعون نے کہا مجھے چھوڑو[3] تا میں موسٰی کو قتل کروں اور چاہیئے کہ وہ اپنے رب کو پکارے میں اس بات سے ڈرتا ہوں کہ وہ تمہارے دین کو بدل نہ دے یا ملک میں کوئی فساد نہ پیدا کر دے۔

یعنی اب میں موسٰیؑ کے قتل پر تُلا ہوا ہوں۔ اس کے خلاف مجھے کوئی مشورہ نہ دو۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Pharaoh said, ‘Leave me alone that I may slay Moses, and let him call on his Lord. [c]I fear lest he should change your religion or cause disorder to appear in the land.’

20:64; 26:36.

English - Five Volume Translation

And Pharaoh said: ‘Leave me alone that I may kill Moses; and let him call on his Lord. [b]I fear lest he should change your religion or cause disorder to raise its head in the land.’[3514]

7:128; 20:64; 26:36.

Commentary:

In the pride of his material wealth and power Pharaoh challenges Moses to call upon his God to save him, if He can, from his clutches, as he is determined to exterminate him and his mission. The words, "Leave me alone that I may kill Moses," mean, "I am determined to kill Moses and will accept no advice to spare his life."

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

ایک روز فرعون نے اپنے درباریوں سے کہا "چھوڑو مجھے، میں اِس موسیٰؑ کو قتل کیے دیتا ہوں، اور پکار دیکھے یہ اپنے رب کو مجھے اندیشہ ہے کہ یہ تمہارا دین بدل ڈالے گا، یا ملک میں فساد برپا کرے گا"

English - Sahih

And Pharaoh said, "Let me kill Moses and let him call upon his Lord. Indeed, I fear that he will change your religion or that he will cause corruption in the land."

اور فرعون نے کہا مجھے چھوڑ دو میں موسیٰ کو قتل کر دوں اور وہ اپنے رب کو پکارے میں ڈرتا ہوں کہ وہ تمہارے دین کو بدل ڈالے گا یا یہ کہ زمین میں فساد پھیلائے گا

And said Firaun, "Leave me (so that) I kill Musa and let him call his Lord. Indeed, I [I] fear that he will change your religion or that he may cause to appear in the land the corruption."

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

یعنی اب میں موسٰیؑ کے قتل پر تُلا ہوا ہوں۔ اس کے خلاف مجھے کوئی مشورہ نہ دو۔
