۞ وَلَوْ بَسَطَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِعِبَادِهِۦ لَبَغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِن يُنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرٍ مَّا يَشَآءُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرٌۢ بَصِيرٌ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And if Allah should enlarge the provision for His servants, they would rebel in the earth; but He sends down according to a proper measure as He pleases. Indeed, He is All-Aware and All-Seeing with regard to His servants.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور اگر اللہ اپنے بندوں کے لئے رزق کشادہ کر دیتا تو وہ زمین میں ضرور باغیانہ روش اختیار کرتے لیکن وہ ایک اندازہ کے مطابق جو چاہتا ہے نازل کرتا ہے۔ یقیناً وہ اپنے بندوں سے ہمیشہ باخبر (اور ان پر) گہری نظر رکھنے والا ہے۔
French
Et si Allāh devait accorder à Ses serviteurs les moyens de leurs provisions avec largesse, ils se mettraient en révolte sur la terre ; mais Il fait descendre avec une juste mesure ce qu’Il veut. En vérité, Il est Très-Conscient et voit bien en ce qui concerne Ses serviteurs.

Pues si Al-lah ampliara la provisión para Sus siervos, se ebelarían en la tierra; mas Él envía de acuerdo con una medida apropiada según Le place. En verdad, Él es Consciente de todo y Quien todo lo ve respecto a Sus siervos.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور اگر اللہ اپنے بندوں کے لئے رزق کو بہت وسیع کر دیتا تو وہ ملک میں بہت سرکشی کرنے لگ جاتے‘ لیکن وہ جو کچھ چاہتا ہے اندازہ کے مطابق اتارتا ہے وہ اپنے بندوں کے حالات سے باخبر (اور) ان کے حالات کو دیکھنے والا ہے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And if Allah should greatly enlarge the provision for His servants, they would rebel in the earth; [a]but He sends down according to a proper measure as He pleases. Indeed, He is All-Aware and All-Seeing of the condition of His servants.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی
اگر اللہ اپنے سب بندوں کو کھلا رزق دے دیتا تو وہ زمین میں سرکشی کا طوفان برپا کر دیتے، مگر وہ ایک حساب سے جتنا چاہتا ہے نازل کرتا ہے، یقیناً وہ اپنے بندوں سے با خبر ہے اور اُن پر نگاہ رکھتا ہے
English - Sahih
And if Allah had extended [excessively] provision for His servants, they would have committed tyranny throughout the earth. But He sends [it] down in an amount which He wills. Indeed He is, of His servants, Acquainted and Seeing.

اور اگر الله اپنے بندوں کی روزی کشادہ کر دے تو زمین پر سرکشی کرنے لگیں لیکن وہ ایک اندازے سے اتارتا ہے جتنی چاہتا ہے بے شک وہ اپنے بندوں سے خوب خبردار دیکھنے والا ہے

English - Arberry
Had God expanded His provision to His servants, they would have been insolent in the earth; but He sends down in measure whatsoever He will; surely He is aware of and sees His servants.

If Allah were to grant ample sustenance to His servants they would go about transgressing in the land. But He sends down in due measure whatever (sustenance) He wills. Surely He is Well-Aware and All-Seeing concerning matters that relate to His servants.

If God were to give in abundance to His creatures they would fill the earth with oppression. So He gives according to measure as He will. He knows (what is good for) His creatures. He is all-aware and all-seeing.
