سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ
اَلثَّقَلٰن (Ath-Thaqalan) 的意思是二重物 (Lane), 由上下文看, 可以表示人们和精纳或阿拉伯人和非阿拉伯人, 或用当前政治用语来说, 指两种政治制度--------资本主义制度和无产主义制度; 或也可以指资本家和劳动阶级。由这两大集团的表现方式来看, 终有一天它们会发生致命的磨擦, 彻底摧毁多世纪来在发展艺术和科学时所积累的劳动成果, 可能使地球上的生命近乎消灭。这节经文似乎体现了一个有这样含意的警告。
Ath-Thaqalan meaning two weighty things (Lane), may signify "the men" and "the jinn" as the context shows, or the Arabs and the non-Arabs or in the present political parlance the two main blocs—Russia or China and their allies on one side and the United States of America and its allies on the other; or the word may signify the Capitalist and the Labour classes. Any day they may be locked into mortal conflict, completely destroying man’s accumulated labours of centuries spent in developing arts and sciences, and inevitably rendering life on earth practically extinct.
