Commentary:
In this world we find that some persons occupy higher positions than others. But in the life to come differences in rank will be much more clearly marked. The Holy Prophet is reported to have said that a section of the inmates of Paradise enjoying very high spiritual positions will find those of still higher ranks to be so far exalted above them that the latter’s dwelling-places will appear to them like distant stars raised high in the firmament (Muslim, Kitabul-Jannat).
