وَاللّٰہُ جَعَلَ لَکُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بُیُوۡتِکُمۡ سَکَنًا وَّجَعَلَ لَکُمۡ مِّنۡ جُلُوۡدِ الۡاَنۡعٰمِ بُیُوۡتًا تَسۡتَخِفُّوۡنَہَا یَوۡمَ ظَعۡنِکُمۡ وَیَوۡمَ اِقَامَتِکُمۡ ۙ وَمِنۡ اَصۡوَافِہَا وَاَوۡبَارِہَا وَاَشۡعَارِہَاۤ اَثٰثًا وَّمَتٰعًا اِلٰی حِیۡنٍ
Important Words:
اثاثا (household goods) is derived from the word which means, it was or became much in quantity; abundant or numerous and great or large.
اث النبات means, the herbage was or became abundant or plenteous and tangled or luxuriant.اثاث means, goods; or utensils and furniture of a house or tent; household goods; all property consisting of camels, and sheep or goats and slaves and utensils and furniture or household goods or abundant property (Lane).
Commentary:
Disbelievers are told here not to excite the displeasure of God by rejecting His Prophet and thus deprive themselves of His great blessings and boons.

نَحۡنُ جَعَلۡنٰہَا تَذۡکِرَۃً وَّمَتٰعًا لِّلۡمُقۡوِیۡنَ
贫困和饥饿的人们; 沙漠中的旅人或在荒野中落脚的人 (اَقْرَبْ, Aqrab)。
یعنی گیلی لکڑی آسانی سے نہیں جل سکتی۔ خداتعالیٰ اس گیلی لکڑی کو سُکَھا دیتا ہے اور پھر وہ خوب جلنے لگ جاتی ہے۔ اسی طرح ایک وقت میں قومیں زندہ ہوتی ہیں اور ان پر تباہی نہیں آسکتی‘ مگر دوسرے وقت میں وہ اپنی طاقت کھو بیٹھتی ہیں اور سُوکھی لکڑی کی طرح بھڑ بھڑ کرکے جل پڑتی ہیں۔

المقوین (wayfarers of the desert) is derived from قوی. They say قوی الرجل i.e. the man became extremely hungry. أقویmeans, he alighted at a desolate place. اقوت الدار means, the house became empty of dwellers. أقوی القوم means, the provisions of the people were exhausted. القواء means, waste, barren land, ruin; hunger. مقوین means, needy and hungry people; wayfarers of a desert or those who alight at a desolate place. بات القواء او القوی means, he spent the night hungry or in a desert (Aqrab).
