يَٰقَوْمِ إِنَّمَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا مَتَٰعٌ وَإِنَّ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ هِىَ دَارُ ٱلْقَرَارِ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
‘O my people, this life of the world is but a temporary provision; and the Hereafter is certainly the home for permanent stay.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اے میری قوم! یہ دنیوی زندگی تو محض عارضی سامان ہے اور یقیناً آخرت ہی ہے جو ٹھہرنے کے لائق جگہ ہے۔

Ô mon peuple, cette vie du monde n’est qu’une jouissance des bénéfices pour un temps ; et l’au-delà est certainement la demeure permanente.

O mein Volk, dies Leben hienieden ist nur ein vergänglicher Genuss; und das Jenseits allein ist die dauernde Heimstatt.

The speech of 'the believing man' shows that true believers are fully convinced of the righteousness of their cause. It is this rock-like faith which enables them to suffer gladly all sorts of hardships and privations.

وہ اس میں پہلی موت کے علاوہ کسی اور موت کا مزا نہیں چکھیں گے اور وہ انہیں جہنّم کے عذاب سے بچائے گا۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اُن کو ان (جنتوں) میں کوئی موت نہیں آئے [1]گی‘ سوائے پہلی موت کے (جو اخروی زندگی سے پہلے آچکی ہے) اور اللہ ان کو دوزخ کے عذاب سے بچائے گا۔
یعنی وہ ایک طویل عرصہ تک اگلے جہان کی زندگی کا مزہ اٹھاتے رہیں گے۔
