7:73

فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ۖ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ

‘Ad / People Of / Destroyed For Rejecting Truth,‘Ad / People Of / Hud(as), Believers SavedCalamities (‘Adhab) / Saved Believers FromHud(as) / People PunishedMercy / Allah’s MercySigns / Rejecters Of‘Ad / People Of / Story Of

And We saved him and those who were with him, by Our mercy, and We cut off the last remnant of those who rejected Our Signs. And they were not believers.
11:60

وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ ۖ جَحَدُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْا۟ رُسُلَهُۥ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ

‘Ad / People Of / Destroyed For Rejecting Truth,‘Ad / People Of / Rejected MessengersHud(as) / People Punished‘Ad / People Of / Story OfHud(as) / Story Of

And these were ‘Ad. They denied the Signs of their Lord and disobeyed His Messengers and followed the bidding of every haughty enemy of truth.
41:14

فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا۟ فَقُلْ أَنذَرْتُكُمْ صَٰعِقَةً مِّثْلَ صَٰعِقَةِ عَادٍ وَثَمُودَ

‘Ad / People Of / Destroyed For Denial Of Signs, ArroganceCalamities (‘Adhab)Calamities (‘Adhab) / Thunderbolt, (Sa‘iqah), (Saihah)Hud(as) / People PunishedSalih(as) / And Story Of (Thamud)Thamud / Punished

But if they turn away, then say: ‘I warn you of a destructive punishment like the punishment which overtook ‘Ad and Thamud.’
46:25

فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُّسْتَقْبِلَ أَوْدِيَتِهِمْ قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا عَارِضٌ مُّمْطِرُنَا ۚ بَلْ هُوَ مَا ٱسْتَعْجَلْتُم بِهِۦ ۖ رِيحٌ فِيهَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

Then, when they saw it coming towards their valleys as a cloud, they said, ‘This is a cloud which will give us rain.’ ‘Nay, but it is that which you sought to hasten — a wind wherein is a grievous punishment.
46:26

تُدَمِّرُ كُلَّ شَىْءٍۭ بِأَمْرِ رَبِّهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ لَا يُرَىٰٓ إِلَّا مَسَٰكِنُهُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

Guilty (Mujrim)‘Ad / People Of / Destroyed By Fierce Howling WindCalamities (‘Adhab) / Wind And Storm, (Saihah)Hud(as) / People Punished
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
‘It will destroy everything by the command of its Lord.’ And they became such that there was nothing left to be seen, except their dwellings. Thus do We requite the guilty people.
51:42

وَفِى عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلْعَقِيمَ

And there was a Sign in the tribe of ‘Ad, when We sent against them the destructive wind.
51:43

مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَىْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ

It left nothing whatever that it visited, but made it like a rotten bone.
54:20

إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِى يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ

54:21

تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنقَعِرٍ

Tearing people away as though they were the trunks of uprooted palm-trees.
69:7

وَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَأُهْلِكُوا۟ بِرِيحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍ

And as for ‘Ad, they were destroyed by a fierce roaring wind,
69:8

سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَالٍ وَثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومًا فَتَرَى ٱلْقَوْمَ فِيهَا صَرْعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ

Seven / Or Seventy‘Ad / People Of / Destroyed By Fierce Howling WindCalamities (‘Adhab) / Wind And Storm, (Saihah)Hud(as) / People Punished

Which He caused to blow against them for seven nights and eight days consecutively, so that thou mightest have seen the people therein lying prostrate, as though they were trunks of palm-trees fallen down.
