فَلَمَّاۤ اٰتٰٮہُمَا صٰلِحًا جَعَلَا لَہٗ شُرَکَآءَ فِیۡمَاۤ اٰتٰٮہُمَا ۚ فَتَعٰلَی اللّٰہُ عَمَّا یُشۡرِکُوۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
But when He gives them a good child, they attribute to Him partners in respect of that which He has given them. But exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
پس جب ان دونوں کو اس (یعنی اللہ) نے ایک صحت مند (بیٹا) عطا کیا تو جو اس نے انہیں عطا کیا اُس (عطا) میں وہ اُس کے شریک ٹھہرانے لگے۔ پس اللہ اس سے بہت بلند ہے جو وہ شرک کرتے ہیں۔
French
Mais lorsque Allāh leur donne un enfant bien portant, ils Lui attribuent des associés en ce qu’Il leur a accordé. Mais Allāh est élevé bien au-dessus de ce qu’ils Lui associent.

Doch gibt Er ihnen dann ein gesundes (Kind), so schreiben sie Seine ihnen gewährte Gabe Göttern zu. Aber erhaben ist Allah über alles, was sie anbeten.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
مگر جب وہ ان کو تندرست بچہ عطا کرتا ہے تو وہ دونوں اس اولاد میں جو خدا نے ان کو دی ہوتی ہے اس کے شریک مقرر کرنے لگ جاتے ہیں۔ اور اللہ ان کے شرک کرنے سے بہت بالا ہے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
But when He gives them a good child, they associate with Him partners in respect of that which He has given them. But exalted is Allah far above what they associate with Him.

But when He gives them a good child, they attribute to Him partners in respect of that which He has given them. But exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him.[1077]
Commentary:
The words, they attribute to Him partners, mean that when the parents have begotten a good child, they begin to think that the child was the gift of someone other than Allah.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
مگر جب اللہ نے ان کو ایک صحیح و سالم بچہ دے دیا تو وہ اس کی اِس بخشش و عنایت میں دوسروں کو اس کا شریک ٹھیرانے لگے اللہ بہت بلند و برتر ہے ان مشرکانہ باتوں سے جو یہ لوگ کرتے ہیں
English - Sahih
But when He gives them a good [child], they ascribe partners to Him concerning that which He has given them. Exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him.

پھر جب الله نے انکو صحیح سالم اولاد دی تو الله کی دی ہوئی چیزوں میں وہ دونوں الله کا شریک بنانے لگے سو الله ان کے شرک سے پاک ہے

Thereafter, when He gave them a righteous son, they assigned Him associates in that He had given them; but God is high exalted above that they associate.
