أَسْبَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ فَأَطَّلِعَ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّهُۥ كَٰذِبًا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِفِرْعَوْنَ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ وَصُدَّ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ ۚ وَمَا كَيْدُ فِرْعَوْنَ إِلَّا فِى تَبَابٍ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
‘The means of approach to the heavens, so that I may have a look at the God of Moses, and I surely think him to be a liar.’ And thus the evil of his doing was made to look fair in the eyes of Pharaoh, and he was turned away from the right path; and the design of Pharaoh ended in nothing but ruin.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
جو آسمان کے راستے ہیں تاکہ میں موسیٰ کے معبود کو جھانک کر دیکھوں بلکہ درحقیقت میں تو اسے جھوٹا سمجھتا ہوں۔ اور اسی طرح فرعون کے لئے اس کے بداعمال خوبصورت کرکے دکھائے گئے اور وہ راستے سے روک دیا گیا اور فرعون کی تدبیر اس کے سوا کچھ نہ تھی کہ وہ نامرادی میں ڈوبی ہوئی تھی۔
French
Les voies d’accès des cieux, pour que je puisse apercevoir le Dieu de Moïse, car vraiment je le crois être un menteur. » Ainsi l’iniquité de son œuvre fut rendue belle aux yeux de Pharaon, et il fut détourné du droit chemin ; et le dessein de Pharaon n’aboutit qu’à la ruine. »

die Wege der Annäherung zu den Himmeln, damit ich über dem Gott Mose die Kunde hole, denn ich halte ihn wahrlich für einen Lügner." Also wurde dem Pharao das Böse seines Tuns schön gemacht, und er wurde abgewendet von dem Pfade; und der Anschlag Pharaos endete bloß in Verderben.

“Los medios para acercarme a los Cielos, para poder echar una mirada al Dios de Moisés, pues creo ciertamente que es un mentiroso”. De este modo se hizo que la maldad de sus acciones apareciera justa a los ojos del Faraón, y fue apartado del camino recto; más el designio del Faraón no terminó más que en la ruina.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
جو آسمان کے راستے ہیں اور اس طرح موسیٰ کے خدا پر آگاہ ہو جاؤں۔ کیونکہ میں اسے جھوٹا سمجھتا ہوں۔ اور اس طرح فرعون کی نظر میں اس کے اعمال کی بدیاں خوبصورت کرکے دکھائی گئی تھیں اور وہ حقیقی راستہ سے (اپنی نافرمانیوں کی وجہ سے) روکا گیا تھا اور فرعون کی تدبیر ناکامی کی صورت میں ہی ظاہر ہونے والی تھی۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
‘The means of access to the heavens, [b]so that I may have a look at the God of Moses,[2606] and I, surely, consider him to be a liar.’ And thus the evil of his conduct was made to look fair in the eyes of Pharaoh, and he was barred from the right path; and the design of Pharaoh was bound to end in ruin.
28:39.
Pharaoh sarcastically said that he wanted to go up to heavens to have a peep at Moses’s God, but God made him see a manifestation of His power in the depths of the sea.

Commentary:
The verse means to say that all the evil designs of Pharaoh against Moses recoiled on his own head and ended only in his own ruin.

آسمانوں کے راستوں تک، اور موسیٰؑ کے خدا کو جھانک کر دیکھوں مجھے تو یہ موسیٰؑ جھوٹا ہی معلوم ہوتا ہے" اس طرح فرعون کے لیے اس کی بد عملی خوشنما بنا دی گئی اور وہ راہ راست سے روک دیا گیا فرعون کی ساری چال بازی (اُس کی اپنی) تباہی کے راستہ ہی میں صرف ہوئی
English - Sahih
The ways into the heavens - so that I may look at the deity of Moses; but indeed, I think he is a liar." And thus was made attractive to Pharaoh the evil of his deed, and he was averted from the [right] way. And the plan of Pharaoh was not except in ruin.

یعنی آسمان کے راستوں پر پھر موسیٰ کے خدا کی طرف جھانک کر دیکھوں اور میں تو اسے جھوٹا خیال کرتا ہوں اور اسی طرح فرعون کو اس کا برا عمل اچھا معلوم ہوا اور وہ راستہ سے روکا گیا تھا اور فرعون کی ہر تدبیر غارت ہی گئی
