فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ

But if they turn away, then thou art responsible only for the plain delivery of the Message.

پس اگر وہ پھر جائیں تو تجھ پر تو محض کھلا کھلا پیغام پہنچانا فرض ہے۔

Mais s’ils se détournent, alors tu n’es responsable que de transmettre avec clarté le Message.

Doch wenn sie sich wegkehren, dann bist du für nichts verantwortlich als für die klare Verkündigung.

[b]但如果他们 (现在仍然) 背离 (正道), 那么, (你是不受任何责难的, 因为) 你的责任是明白的传达使命罢了。

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس اگر وہ (اب بھی) پھر جائیں تو (اس کی وجہ سے اے نبی! تجھ پر الزام نہیں آئے گا کیونکہ) تیرے ذمہ صرف کھول کر پہنچا دینا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]But if they turn away, then thou art responsible only for the plain delivery of the Message.

Commentary:

The words, If they turn away, mean that in spite of this offer of peace made to disbelievers, they are determined to compel the Prophet to flee from Mecca. By doing so they are incurring a grave responsibility.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اب اگر یہ لوگ منہ موڑتے ہیں تو اے محمدؐ، تم پر صاف صاف پیغام حق پہنچا دینے کے سوا اور کوئی ذمہ داری نہیں ہے

English - Sahih

But if they turn away, [O Muhammad] - then only upon you is [responsibility for] clear notification.

پھربھی اگر نہ مانیں تو تم پر صاف صاف پیغام پہنچا دینا ہی ہے
