بَلْ تَأْتِيهِم بَغْتَةً فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Nay, it will come upon them unawares so that it will utterly confound them; and they will not be able to repel it, nor will they be given respite.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

بلکہ وہ (گھڑی) اُن تک اچانک آئے گی اور انہیں مبہوت کر دے گی اور وہ اسے (اپنے سے) پرے کر دینے کی طاقت نہیں رکھیں گے اور نہ ہی وہ مہلت دئیے جائیں گے۔

French

Non, cela leur surviendra à l’improviste et les confondra complètement ; et ils ne pourront pas le repousser, et aucun répit ne leur sera accordé non plus.

German

Nein, es wird über sie kommen unversehens, so dass es sie in Verwirrung stürzt; und sie werden es nicht abwehren können, noch werden sie Aufschub erlangen.

[c]那 (惩罚) 将突然来到他们面前, 使他们狼狈不堪,[838]他们既没有阻止的力量, 也得不到延期。

¡No!, vendrá sobre ellos inopinadamente, por lo que los confundirá totalmente; y no podrán resistirlo ni se les dará respiro.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

لیکن (وہ عذاب) ان کے پاس اچانک آئے گا اور ان کو حیران کر دے گا پس وہ اس کو رد ّکرنے کی طاقت نہیں رکھیں گے اور نہ ان کو (کوئی) مہلت دی جائے گی۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Nay, [b]it will come upon them unawares so that it will utterly confound[1890] them; and they will not be able to repel it, nor will they be granted respite.

36:50; 67:28.

The reference in the verse may be to the Fall of Mecca when the Quraish were taken completely by surprise and were utterly confounded.

Commentary:

The reference in the verse may be to the Fall of Mecca when the Quraish were taken completely by surprise and were utterly confounded. The sign of punishment which they demanded came upon them suddenly in the form of the fall of their capital city the centre of disbelief and idolatry.

وہ بلا اچانک آئے گی اور اِنہیں اِس طرح یک لخت دبوچ لے گی کہ یہ نہ اس کو دفع کر سکیں گے اور نہ اِن کو لمحہ بھر مُہلت ہی مل سکے گی

English - Sahih

Rather, it will come to them unexpectedly and bewilder them, and they will not be able to repel it, nor will they be reprieved.

بلکہ وہ ان پر ناگہان آئے گی پھر وہ ان کے ہوش کھو دے گی پھر نہ اسے ٹال سکیں گے اورنہ انہیں مہلت دی جائے گی
