اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

24:9

وَيَدْرَؤُا۟ عَنْهَا ٱلْعَذَابَ أَن تَشْهَدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَٰدَٰتٍۭ بِٱللَّهِ ۙ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

But it shall avert the punishment from her if she bears witness four times in the name of Allah saying that he is of the liars.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور اس (عورت) سے یہ بات سزا ٹال دے گی کہ وہ اللہ کی قسم کھا کر چار بار گواہی دے کہ یقیناً وہ (مرد) جھوٹوں میں سے ہے۔

French

Mais cela écartera le châtiment d’elle si elle jure par quatre fois au nom d’Allāh, en disant qu’il est du nombre des menteurs.

German

Von ihr aber soll es die Strafe abwenden, wenn sie viermal im Namen Allahs Zeugenschaft leistet, dass er ein Lügner ist.

但是她 (受控诉的妻子) 将免于惩罚, 如果她指安拉发誓四次, 证明他 (她的丈夫) 是说谎者;

Italian

Ma a lei sarà risparmiata la punizione, se testimonia quattro volte nel nome di Allah che egli è un mentitore.

Spanish

Pero se apartará el castigo de ella si la mujer presta cuatro veces testimonio en el Nombre de Al‑lah diciendo que él es de los mentirosos.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور اس بیوی سے (جس پر اس کا خاوند الزام لگائے) اس کا اللہ کی قسم کھا کر چار گواہیاں دینا کہ وہ (خاوند) جھوٹا ہے عذاب دور کر دے گا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

But it shall avert the punishment from her if she bears witness four times in the name of Allah that he is of the liars;

English - Five Volume Translation

But it shall avert the punishment from her if she bears witness four times in the name of Allah saying that he is of the liars.[2598]

Commentary:

After the accused woman has established her innocence by taking four oaths that her husband has falsely accused her and the fifth oath invoking God’s curse upon herself if her husband’s accusation is true, no punishment is decreed against her and the husband is also not held punishable for accusing her. But after such a serious breach the couple will cease to live as husband and wife, because no chance is then left of the restoration of amicable relations between them.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اور عورت سے سزا اس طرح ٹل سکتی ہے کہ وہ چار مرتبہ اللہ کی قسم کھا کر شہادت دے کہ یہ شخص (اپنے الزام میں) جھوٹا ہے

English - Sahih

But it will prevent punishment from her if she gives four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the liars.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

او رعورت کی سزا کو یہ بات دور کر دے گی کہ الله کو گواہ کر کے چار مرتبہ یہ کہے کہ بے شک اس پر الله کا غضب پڑے اگر وہ سچا ہے

English - Talal Itani

But it would prevent from her the punishment that she bears witness four testimonies by Allah that he (is) surely of the liars.

It shall avert from her the chastisement if she testify by God four times that he is of the liars,
