وَاَنۡ اَتۡلُوَا الۡقُرۡاٰنَ ۖ فَمَنِ اہۡتَدٰی فَاِنَّمَا یَہۡتَدِیۡ لِنَفۡسِہٖ ۖ وَمَنۡ ضَلَّ فَقُلۡ اِنَّمَاۤ اَنَا۠ مِنَ الۡمُنۡذِرِیۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
‘And to recite the Qur’an.’ So whoever follows guidance, follows it only for the good of his own soul; and as to him who goes astray, say, ‘I am only a warner.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور یہ کہ میں قرآن کی تلاوت کروں۔ پس جس نے ہدایت پائی تو وہ اپنی ہی خاطرہدایت پاتا ہے اور جو گمراہ ہوا تو کہہ دے کہ میں تو محض ڈرانے والوں میں سے ہوں۔
French
Et de réciter le Coran. » Ainsi, quiconque suit la bonne voie, ne le fait que pour le bien de sa propre âme ; et quant à celui qui s’égare, dis- lui : « Je ne suis qu’un d'entre les Avertisseurs. »

und den Qur-ân vorzutragen." Wer also dem rechten Weg folgt, der folgt ihm nur zu seinem eigenen Besten; und wer irregeht, so sprich: "Ich bin nur einer der Warner."

“我 (也奉命向人类) 宣读 «古兰经»。” [c]凡是 (听从«古兰经»而) 得正道的, 他自己将获得正道的益处; 凡是 (听到«古兰经»而仍然) 迷误的, 你对他说: “我只是一个警告者。”

e di recitare il Corano.» Così, chiunque segue la guida, la segue soltanto per il bene della sua propria anima, e quanto a colui che fuorvia, di': «Io sono solo un ammonitore.»
Spanish
“Y que recite el Corán”. Así, quien sigue la guía la sigue nicamente por el bien de su propia alma; y a quien se extravía, dile: “No soy más que un amonestador”.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور یہ بھی کہ میں قرآن پڑھ کر سناؤں۔ پس جو اسے سن کر ہدایت پاجائے گا تو اس کا ہدایت پانا صرف اسی کی جان کے کام آئے گا اور جو اسے سن کر گمراہ ہو جائے گا تو تو اسے کہہ دے کہ میں صرف ایک ہوشیار کرنے والا (وجود) ہوں۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And to recite the Qur’an.’ So [c]whoever follows guidance, follows it only for the good of his own soul; and as to him who goes astray, say, ‘I am only a Warner.’

Commentary:
The theme of the preceding verse is further developed in the present verse and the Holy Prophet is commanded to say that from Mecca will emanate the light of the Quran which will illumine the whole world.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
اور یہ قرآن پڑھ کر سناؤں" اب جو ہدایت اختیار کرے گا وہ اپنے ہی بھلے کے لیے ہدایت اختیار کرے گا اور جو گمراہ ہو اُس سے کہہ دو کہ میں تو بس خبردار کر دینے والا ہوں
English - Sahih
And to recite the Qur'an." And whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] himself; and whoever strays - say, "I am only [one] of the warners."

اور یہ بھی کہ قرآن سنا دوں پھر جو کوئی راہ پر آ گیا تو وہ اپنے بھلے کو راہ پر آتا ہے اور جو گمراہ ہوا تو کہہ دو میں تو صرف ڈرانے والوں میں سے ہوں

and to recite the Koran. So whosoever is guided, is only guided to his own gain; and whosoever goes astray, say: 'I am naught but a warner.
