3:150

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنۡ تُطِیۡعُوا الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا یَرُدُّوۡکُمۡ عَلٰۤی اَعۡقٰبِکُمۡ فَتَنۡقَلِبُوۡا خٰسِرِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

O ye who believe! if you obey those who have disbelieved, they will cause you to turn back on your heels, and you will become losers.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو! اگر تم نے ان لوگوں کی اطاعت کی جو کافر ہوئے تو وہ تمہیں تمہاری ایڑیوں کے بَل لوٹا دیں گے۔ پھر تم نقصان اٹھاتے ہوئے لوٹو گے۔

French

Ô vous qui croyez ! Si vous obéissez aux mécréants, ils vous feront tourner les talons, et ainsi vous deviendrez des perdants.

German

O die ihr glaubt, so ihr denen, die nicht glauben, gehorcht, werden sie euch auf euren Fersen umkehren heißen*; also werdet ihr Verlierende sein.

Chinese

[e]信仰的人啊! 要是你们追随[284]不信的人们, 他们将使你们背离 (你们的宗教), 那你们将成为损失者。

2:110; 3:101.

穆斯林不曾受告诫要停止与所有非穆斯林人士来往。他们仅受警告切勿跟从那些与伊斯兰教对敌的不信者。

Italian

O voi che credete! Se obbedite a coloro che sono venuti meno alla fede, questi vi faranno tornare sui vostri passi e allora diventerete dei perdenti.

Spanish

¡Oh, vosotros, los que creéis! si obedecéis a quienes no creen, os harán volver sobre vuestros pasos y seréis perdedores.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اے ایماندارو! اگر تم ان لوگوں کی فرمانبرداری کرو گے جو کافر ہیں تو وہ تمہیں تمہاری ایڑیوں کے بل لوٹادیں گے جس کی وجہ سے تم نقصان اٹھانے والوں میں سے ہو جاؤ گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[b]O ye who believe! if you obey[497] those who have disbelieved, they will cause you to turn back on your heels, and you will become losers.

2:110; 3:101.

Muslims are not enjoined to eschew dealings with all non-Muslims; they are warned against following only such disbelievers as are the active enemies of Islam.

English - Five Volume Translation

[a]O ye who believe! if you obey those who have disbelieved, they will cause you to turn back on your heels, and you will become losers.[433]

2:110; 3:101.

Commentary:

It should be noted that Muslims are not enjoined here to have no dealings with non-Muslims; they are only warned against following such disbelievers as are enemies of Islam. They should remain on the alert against these, though they need not fear them, because God is on their side, as pointed out in the next verse.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، اگر تم اُن لوگوں کے اشاروں پر چلو گے جنہوں نے کفر کی راہ اختیار کی ہے تو وہ تم کو الٹا پھیر لے جائیں گے اور تم نامراد ہو جاؤ گے

English - Sahih

O you who have believed, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will [then] become losers.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اے ایمان والو اگر تم کافروں کا کہا مانو گے تو وہ تمہیں الٹے پاؤں پھیر دیں گے پھر تم نقصان میں جا پڑو گے

English - Talal Itani

O you who believe! If you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, then you will turn back (as) losers.
