37:6

رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them and the Lord of the sun’s risings.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

آسمانوں کا بھی ربّ ہے اور زمین کا بھی اور اس کا بھی جو ان دونوں کے درمیان ہے اور تمام مشرقوں کا ربّ ہے۔

French

Le Seigneur des cieux et de la terre et de tout ce qui est entre eux, et le Seigneur des endroits d’où la lumière se répand.

German

Herr der Himmel und der Erde und alles dessen, was zwischen beiden ist, und der Herr der Orte im Sonnenaufgang.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

آسمانوں کا بھی رب ہے‘ اور زمین کا بھی اور جو کچھ ان دونوں کے درمیان ہے اس کا بھی اور تمام روشنی کے طلوع کرنے کی جگہوں کا بھی۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them and the Lord of the places from which light spreads forth.[2470]

The implication may be to the spread of Islam first in eastern countries, then from there to other parts of the world.

Commentary:

مشارق (Sun’s risings) being the plural of مشرق which means, the place where the sun rises; the words رب المشارق may signify that God is the Lord, the Source and Centre of every kind of light, or the implied reference in the words "the Lord of sun’s risings" may be to the spread of Islam first in eastern countries, then from there to other parts of the world.
