42:10

أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۖ فَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلْوَلِىُّ وَهُوَ يُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Have they taken for themselves protectors other than Him? But it is Allah Who is the real Protector. And He quickens the dead, and He has power over all things.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

کیا اُنہوں نے اس کے سوا دوست پکڑ رکھے ہیں؟ پس اللہ ہی ہے جو بہترین دوست ہے اور وہی ہے جو مُردوں کو زندہ کرتا ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر جسے وہ چاہے دائمی قدرت رکھتا ہے۔

French

Se sont-ils pris des protecteurs en dehors de Lui ? Mais c’est Allāh Qui est le Vrai Protecteur. Et Il ranime les morts, et Il a le pouvoir de faire tout ce qu’Il veut.

German

Haben sie sich Beschützer genommen statt Ihn? Doch Allah allein ist der Beschützer. Er macht die Toten lebendig, und Er vermag alle Dinge zu tun.

Chinese

[e]难道他们 (为自己) 选取了安拉之外的保护者? 只有安拉是真正的保护者。他赐予死者生命, 他是全能于万物的。

Italian

Si sono presi protettori altri all'infuori di Lui? Ma è Allah il vero Protettore. Ed Egli ridà la vita ai morti e su tutte le cose che Egli vuole, è Potente.

Spanish

¿Han tomado para ellos protectores distintos de Él? Mas Al-lah es el auténtico Protector. Pues Él resucita a los muertos y tiene poder sobre todas las cosas.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

کیا انہوں نے اللہ کے سوا کسی دوسرے کو پناہ دینے والا تجویز کیا ہے؟ پس (یاد رہے کہ) اللہ ہی پناہ دینے والا ہے اور وہی مردے زندہ کرتا ہے اور وہ اپنے ہر ارادہ کو پورا کرنے پر قادر ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[e]Have they taken for themselves protectors other than Him? But it is Allah Who is the real Protector. And He quickens the dead, and He has power over all things.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

کیا یہ (ایسے نادان ہیں کہ) اِنہوں نے اُسے چھوڑ کر دوسرے ولی بنا رکھے ہیں؟ ولی تو اللہ ہی ہے، وہی مُردوں کو زندہ کرتا ہے، اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے

English - Sahih

Or have they taken protectors [or allies] besides him? But Allah - He is the Protector, and He gives life to the dead, and He is over all things competent.

کیا انہوں نے اس کے سوا اوربھی مددگار بنا رکھے ہیں پھر الله ہی مددگار ہے اور وہی مردووں کو زندہ کرے گا اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے

English - Talal Itani

Or have they taken besides Him protectors? But Allah - He (is) the Protector, and He gives life (to) the dead. And He (is) on every thing All-Powerful.
