42:45

وَمَنۡ یُّضۡلِلِ اللّٰہُ فَمَا لَہٗ مِنۡ وَّلِیٍّ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِہٖ ۗ وَتَرَی الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ لَمَّا رَاَوُا الۡعَذَابَ یَقُوۡلُوۡنَ ہَلۡ اِلٰی مَرَدٍّ مِّنۡ سَبِیۡلٍ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And he whom Allah adjudges astray — there is no protector for him thereafter. And thou wilt find the wrongdoers, when they see the punishment, saying: ‘Is there any way of return?’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور جسے اللہ گمراہ ٹھہرادے تو اُس کے لئے اِس کے بعد کوئی مددگار نہیں اور تُو ظالموں کو دیکھے گا کہ جب وہ عذاب کا سامنا کریں گے تو کہیں گے کہ کیا (اس کے) ٹالے جانے کی کوئی راہ ہے؟

French

Et celui qu’Allāh juge égaré – il n’y a aucun protecteur pour lui par la suite. Et tu verras les injustes qui diront, lorsqu’ils verront le châtiment : « N’y a-t-il aucune voie de retour ? »

German

Und wen Allah zum Irrenden erklärt, für ihn gibt es außer Ihm keinen Beschützer. Und du wirst die Frevler sehen, wie sie, wenn sie die Strafe schauen, sprechen: "Ist denn kein Weg zur Rückkehr?"

Chinese

[b]凡是安拉判定为迷误的人, 其后他再没有保护者。你将看见不义的人在他们看到惩罚时, 他们说: “还有转回的途径?”

Italian

E per colui che Allah condanna a deviare, non ci sarà protettore di sorta. E tu troverai che gli iniqui, quando vedranno il castigo, diranno: «Non c'è modo di tornare indietro?»

Spanish

A quien Al-lah decreta extraviado, sepa que no tendrá después protector. Pero encontrarás que los injustos, cuando ven el castigo, dicen: “¿Hay algún camino de retorno?”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور جس کو اللہ گمراہ قرار دے تو اس (اللہ) کو چھوڑ کر اس کا کوئی مددگار نہیں ہو سکتا اور تو ظالموں کو دیکھے گا کہ جب وہ عذاب آتا دیکھیں گے تو کہیں گے کہ کیا اس عذاب کو لوٹانے کی کوئی تدبیر بھی ہے!

English - Short Commentary Translation

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

جس کو اللہ ہی گمراہی میں پھینک دے اُس کا کوئی سنبھالنے والا اللہ کے بعد نہیں ہے تم دیکھو گے کہ یہ ظالم جب عذاب دیکھیں گے تو کہیں گے اب پلٹنے کی بھی کوئی سبیل ہے؟

English - Sahih

And he whom Allah sends astray - for him there is no protector beyond Him. And you will see the wrongdoers, when they see the punishment, saying, "Is there for return [to the former world] any way?"

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اور جسے الله گمراہ کر دے سو اس کے بعد اس کا کوئی کارساز نہیں اور ظالموں کو دیکھیں گے جب وہ عذاب دیکھیں گے تو کہیں گے کیا واپس جانے کا بھی کوئی راستہ ہے

English - Talal Itani

And whoever Allah lets go astray then not for him any protector after Him. And you will see the wrongdoers, when they see the punishment saying, "Is (there) for return any way?"

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

English - Arberry

Whomsoever God leads astray, he has no protector after him; and thou shalt see the evildoers, when they see the chastisement, saying, 'Is there any way to be sent back?'

English - Maududi

He whom Allah lets go astray, none after Him can be his protector. You will see that when the wrong-doers observe the chastisement, they will exclaim: “Is there any way to go back?”

English - Ahmed Ali

He whom God leads astray has no one except God to protect him. You should see the sinners when they face the punishment. They will say: "Isn't there a way of going back?"

English - Yusuf Ali

For any whom Allah leaves astray, there is no protector thereafter. And thou wilt see the Wrong-doers, when in sight of the Penalty, Say: "Is there any way (to effect) a return?"
