45:17

وَلَقَدۡ اٰتَیۡنَا بَنِیۡۤ اِسۡرٰٓءِیۡلَ الۡکِتٰبَ وَالۡحُکۡمَ وَالنُّبُوَّۃَ وَرَزَقۡنٰہُمۡ مِّنَ الطَّیِّبٰتِ وَفَضَّلۡنٰہُمۡ عَلَی الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And verily, We gave the children of Israel the Book, and sovereignty, and prophethood; and We provided them with good and pure things, and We exalted them over the peoples of the time.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور یقیناً ہم نے بنی اسرائیل کو کتاب اور حکمت اور نبوت عطا کی اور پاک چیزوں میں سے انہیں رزق عطا کیا اور ان کو تمام جہانوں پر فضیلت دی۔

French

Et en vérité, Nous donnâmes aux Enfants d’lsraël le Livre, et le pouvoir, et le prophètat – nubuwwah - ; et Nous les approvisionnâmes de choses bonnes et pures, et Nous les élevâmes au-dessus des peuples de l’époque.

German

Wir gaben den Kindern Israels die Schrift und Herrschaft und Prophetentum, und Wir versorgten sie mit guten Dingen und bevorzugten sie vor den Völkern.

Chinese

[b]我赐予以色列人的子孙经典、主权和先知品位,[1246] [c]供给了他们 (优美) 纯洁的东西, 使他们超越 (他们时代) 所有的人们。

这里除了 “经典” (意思是法令或 شَرِيْعَة, Shari‘ah) 外, 还提到先知品位, 说明穆撒得到法令之后, 众先知没有带来新的法令, 而只是遵循 «讨拉德»--------«摩西五经» 罢了(5:45)。

E, in verità, Noi demmo ai figli d'Israele il libro e sovranità e profezia; e Noi procurammo loro cose buone e pure, e Li esaltammo al di sopra dei popoli del loro tempo.

En verdad, entregamos a los hijos de Israel el Libro, la soberanía y la profecía; les proporcionamos cosas buenas y puras, y los exaltamos por encima de los pueblos de su época.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ہم نے بنی اسرائیل کو کتاب اور حکومت اور نبوت بخشی تھی اور پاکیزہ چیزوں میں سے رزق عطا فرمایا تھا اور اپنے زمانہ کے لوگوں پر ان کو فضیلت بخشی تھی۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And verily, [c]We gave the Children of Israel the Book and sovereignty and Prophethood;[2710] and [d]We provided them with good and pure things, and We exalted them over the peoples of their time.

Mention of Prophethood, separate from "the Book" (which means the Law or the Shari‘ah) shows that while Moses was given the Law, the Prophets who came after him brought no new Law but followed the Torah—the Book of Moses (5: 45).

And verily, [b]We gave the children of Israel the Book, and sovereignty, and prophethood; and [c]We provided them with good and pure things, and We exalted them over the peoples of the time.[3741]

Commentary:

The mention of prophethood, separate from "the Book" (which means the Law or the Shari‘ah), shows that while Moses was given the Law, the Prophets who came after him brought no new Law but followed the Torah—the Book of Moses. Elsewhere, the Quran says: Surely, We sent down the Torah wherein was guidance and light. By it did the Prophets who were obedient to this judge for the Jews (5:47),

اِس سے پہلے بنی اسرائیل کو ہم نے کتاب اور حکم اور نبوت عطا کی تھی اُن کو ہم نے عمدہ سامان زیست سے نوازا، دنیا بھر کے لوگوں پر انہیں فضیلت عطا کی

English - Sahih

And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.

اور بے شک ہم نے بنی اسرائیل کو کتاب اورحکومت اور نبوت دی تھی اور ہم نے پاکیزہ چیزوں سے روزی دی اور ہم نے انہیں جہان والوں پر بزرگی دی

And certainly, We gave (the) Children of Israel the Book and the wisdom and the Prophethood, and We provided them of the good things and We preferred them over the worlds.
