وَلَوْ قَٰتَلَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوَلَّوُا۟ ٱلْأَدْبَٰرَ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُونَ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And if those who disbelieve should fight you, they would certainly turn their backs; then they would find neither protector nor helper.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور اگر وہ لوگ تم سے قتال کریں گے جنہوں نے کفر کیا تو ضرور پیٹھ پھیر جائیں گے، پھر وہ نہ کوئی دوست پائیں گے اور نہ کوئی مددگار۔
French
Et si ceux qui refusent de croire se battaient contre vous, ils tourneraient assurément le dos en déroute ; alors ils ne trouveraient ni protecteur ni secoureur.

Und wenn die Ungläubigen euch bekämpft hätten*, sie hätten gewiss den Rücken gekehrt: dann hätten sie weder Beschützer noch Helfer finden können.

假如那些不信的人与你们交战, 他们一定败北; 然后他们得不到保护者, 也 (得不到) 援助者。

E se coloro che non credono dovessero combattervi, essi, per certo, volterebbero le spalle; allora non troverebbero né chi li protegga, né chi li aiuti.

Mas si los incrédulos os combatieran, ciertamente volverían sus espaldas; entonces no encontrarían protector ni ayudante.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور اگر کفار (صلح حدیبیہ کے وقت) تم سے لڑتے‘ تو وہ اسی وقت پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگ جاتے اور نہ کوئی پناہ دینے والا پاتے‘ نہ مددگار (پاتے) ۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And if those who disbelieve should fight you, they would, certainly, turn their backs; then they would find neither protector nor helper.
English - Five Volume Translation
And if those who disbelieve should fight you, they would certainly turn their backs; then they would find neither protector nor helper.[3832]
Commentary:
The verse purports to say that whenever true believers will stand facing disbelievers in battle array, the disbelievers would suffer defeat. The verse may also mean that if fighting had broken out at Hudaibiyyah the disbelievers would certainly have suffered defeat.

یہ کافر لوگ اگر اِس وقت تم سے لڑ گئے ہوتے تو یقیناً پیٹھ پھیر جاتے اور کوئی حامی و مددگار نہ پاتے

And if those [Makkans] who disbelieve had fought you, they would have turned their backs [in flight]. Then they would not find a protector or a helper.

اور اگر کافر تم سے لڑتے تو پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگ پڑتے پھر نہ کوئی حمایتی پاتے نہ کوئی مددگار
