6:160

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا۟ دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا۟ شِيَعًا لَّسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِى شَىْءٍ ۚ إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُمْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

As for those who split up their religion and became divided into sects, thou hast no concern at all with them. Surely their case will come before Allah, then will He inform them of what they used to do.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

یقیناً وہ لوگ جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا اور گروہ در گروہ ہو گئے، تیرا ان سے کچھ بھی تعلق نہیں۔ ان کا معاملہ خدا ہی کے ہاتھ میں ہے۔ پھر وہ اُن کو اُس کی خبر دے گا جو وہ کیا کرتے تھے۔

French

Quant à ceux qui ont divisé leur religion et formé des sectes, leur affaire ne te concerne pas. Assurément, c’est à Allāh de décider leur cas, et Il les informera de ce qu’ils faisaient.

German

Jene aber, die in ihren Glauben Spaltung trugen und Sektierer wurden, mit ihnen hast du nichts zu schaffen. Ihr Fall wird sicherlich vor Allah kommen, dann wird Er ihnen verkünden, was sie getan.

Chinese

[d]那些使他们的宗教分裂[467]而各成宗派的人, 你与他们毫无关系。他们的事情只在安拉那里, 他将告诉他们所做的一切。

30:33.

“使他们的宗教分裂” 这些字, 意指当人们开始按照各自的奇怪和空幻的想法办事, 他们之间就会产生分歧, 意见就会不一致。

Italian

Per quanto riguarda coloro che introdussero divisioni nella loro religione, e si frazionarono in gruppi, tu non hai niente a che fare con essi. Certamente il loro caso verrà al cospetto di Allah, e Lui li informerà di quello che erano usi fare.

Spanish

En cuanto a quienes escindieron su religión y quedaron divididos en sectas, no tienes que preocuparte en absoluto por ellos. En verdad, a Al-lah corresponde decidir sobre su causa, y luego les informará de lo que hicieron.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

جن لوگوں نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا اور گروہ درگروہ ہو گئے ہیں تیرا ان سے کچھ تعلق نہیں ہے ان کا معاملہ تو صرف اللہ کے ہاتھ میں ہے پھر جو کچھ وہ کرتے تھے وہ اس کی انہیں خبر دے گا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

As for [d]those who split up their religion[937] and became divided into sects, thou hast no concern at all with them. Surely, their affair is with Allah, then shall He inform them of what they used to do.

30:33.

The words, "split up their religion" signify that when people begin to follow their own caprices and fancies, differences arise among them and unanimity of views disappears.

As for [a]those who split up their religion and became divided into sects, thou hast no concern at all with them. Surely their case will come before Allah, then shall He inform them of what they used to do.[899]

30:33.

Important Words:

شیعا (sects) is the plural of شیعة which means, a separate or distinct party or sect of men; any people that have combined in or for an affair. The word is derived from شاع, which means, it became spread, published, divulged or made known; it became scattered or dispersed. شاع also means, he or it followed (him). شیع ابله means, he called out to his (straying or lingering) camels, whereupon they went along and followed one another. شیعة also means, he encouraged and strengthened him. تشایعت الابل means, the camels became separate parties; or they went together (Lane).

Commentary:

The words, split up their religion, signify that when all and sundry begin to follow their own judgement, there are sure to be differences among them and there remains no unity of opinion.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

جن لوگوں نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا اور گروہ گروہ بن گئے یقیناً ان سے تمہارا کچھ واسطہ نہیں، ان کا معاملہ تو اللہ کے سپرد ہے، وہی ان کو بتائے گا کہ انہوں نے کیا کچھ کیا ہے

English - Sahih

Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah; then He will inform them about what they used to do.

جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا اور کئی جماعتیں بن گئے تیرا ان سے کوئی تعلق نہیں اس کا کام الله ہی کے حوالے ہے پھر وہی انہیں بتلائے گا جو کچھ وہ کرتے تھے

English - Talal Itani

Indeed, those who divide their religion and become sects, you are not with them in anything. Only their affair (is) with Allah, then He will inform them of what they used to do.

Those who have made divisions in their religion and become sects, thou art not of them in anything; their affair is unto God, then He will tell them what they have been doing.

English - Maududi

Surely you have nothing to do with those who have made divisions in their religion and become factions. Their matter is with Allah and He will indeed tell them (in time) what they have been doing.

English - Ahmed Ali

As for those who have created schisms in their order, and formed different sects, you have no concern with them. Their affair is with God. He will tell them the truth of what they were doing.

English - Yusuf Ali

As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah: He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did.
