60:4

لَنۡ تَنۡفَعَکُمۡ اَرۡحَامُکُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَوۡلٰدُکُمۡ ۚ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ یَفۡصِلُ بَیۡنَکُمۡ ۚ وَاللّٰہُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ بَصِیۡرٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Neither your ties of kindred nor your children will avail you aught on the Day of Resurrection. He will decide between you. And Allah sees all that you do.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تمہارے رِحمی رشتہ دار اور اولاد قیامت کے دن ہرگز تمہیں کوئی فائدہ نہیں پہنچاسکیں گے۔ وہ تمہارے درمیان جدائی ڈال دے گا اور جو تم کرتے ہو اللہ اُس پر ہمیشہ نظر رکھتا ہے۔

French

Ni vos liens de parenté ni vos enfants ne vous seront d’aucun profit au Jour de la Résurrection. Il jugera entre vous. Et Allāh voit bien tout ce que vous faites.

German

Weder eure Bande der Blutsverwandtschaft noch eure Kinder werden euch am Tage der Auferstehung im geringsten nützen. Er wird zwischen euch entscheiden. Und Allah sieht alles, was ihr tut.

Chinese

[d]在复生日, 你们的亲戚和你们的子女都对你们绝没有一点益处。安拉将在你们之间判断。安拉看着你们的一切行为。

Italian

Né i vostri legami di parentela, né i vostri figli vi gioveranno alcunché nel Giorno della risurrezione. Allah deciderà tra voi. E Allah vede quello che fate.

Spanish

Ni vuestros parientes ni vuestros hijos os servirán de nada en el Día de la Resurrección. Él decidirá entre vosotros, pues Al-lah ve todo lo que hacéis.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

تم کو نہ تو تمہارے رحمی رشتے اور نہ اولادیں قیامت کے دن نفع پہنچا سکتی ہیں۔ اس دن خدا ہی فیصلہ کرے گا اور اللہ تمہارے اعمال کو اچھی طرح دیکھ رہا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]Neither your ties of kindred, nor your children will avail you aught on the Day of Resurrection. Allah will decide between you. And Allah sees all what you do.

English - Five Volume Translation

[a]Neither your ties of kindred nor your children will avail aught on the Day of Resurrection. He will decide between you. And Allah sees all that you do.[4212]

Commentary:

The verse constitutes a severe warning to those Muslims who, in defiance of the above clear Divine commandment, maintain friendly relations with their relatives, if the latter are at war with them or entertain hostile feelings towards Islam. The commandment makes no exception even of the nearest blood relations.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

قیامت کے دن نہ تمہاری رشتہ داریاں کسی کام آئیں گی نہ تمہاری اولاد اُس روز اللہ تمہارے درمیان جدائی ڈال دے گا، اور و ہی تمہارے اعمال کا دیکھنے والا ہے

English - Sahih

Never will your relatives or your children benefit you; the Day of Resurrection He will judge between you. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

نہ تمہیں تمہارے رشتے ناطے اور نہ تمہاری اولاد قیامت کے دن نفع دیں گے وہ تمہارے درمیان فیصلہ کرے گا اور جو تم کرتے ہو الله اسے خوب دیکھتا ہے

English - Talal Itani

Never will benefit you your relatives and not your children (on the) Day (of) the Resurrection. He will judge between you. And Allah of what you do (is) All-Seer.

English - Arberry

Neither your blood-kindred nor your children shall profit you upon the Day of Resurrection; He shall distinguish between you. And God sees the things you do.

English - Maududi

On the Day of Resurrection neither your blood-kindred nor your own offspring will avail you. (On that Day) He will separate you. Allah sees all that you do.

English - Ahmed Ali

Neither your blood relations nor your children will be of any avail to you on the Day of Resurrection. He will judge between you, for God sees what you do.

English - Yusuf Ali

Of no profit to you will be your relatives and your children on the Day of Judgment: He will judge between you: for Allah sees well all that ye do.
