وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفْسَ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

But as for him who fears to stand before his Lord, and restrains his soul from evil desires,

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور وہ جو اپنے ربّ کے مرتبہ سے خائف ہوا اور اس نے اپنے نفس کو ہَوَس سے روکا۔

French

Mais quant à celui qui craint la dignité et le rang de son Seigneur, et qui retient son âme des mauvais désirs,

German

Was aber den anlangt, der das Stehen vor seinem Herrn fürchtet und die eigene Seele von niederem Gelüst abhält,

[h]至于惧怕他的养主高位[1596]并克制自己私欲的人,

55:47.

害怕作为罪人站在他养主面前的人或害怕他养主的威严的人。

Quanto invece a colui che teme di presentarsi al suo Signore, e trattiene la propria anima da desideri cattivi,

Mas para aquel que tema la comparecencia ante su Señor y reprima de su alma los malos deseos,

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور جس نے اپنے رب کی شان سے خوف کیا اور (اپنے) نفس کو گری ہوئی خواہشات سے روکا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]But as for him who fears to stand[3248] before his Lord, and restrains his soul from evil desires,

55:47.

(1) Who fears to stand before his Lord as a guilty person; or (2) who fears the Majesty of his Lord.

English - Five Volume Translation

[a]But as for him who fears to stand before his Lord, and restrains his soul from evil desires,[4570]

Commentary:

The verse means: (1) who fears to stand before his Lord as a guilty person; (2) who fears the Majesty of his Lord.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اور جس نے اپنے رب کے سامنے کھڑے ہونے کا خوف کیا تھا اور نفس کو بری خواہشات سے باز رکھا تھا

But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination,

اور لیکن جو اپنے رب کے سامنے کھڑا ہونے سے ڈرتارہا اور اس نے اپنے نفس کو بری خواہش سے روکا
