19:74

وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَىُّ ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ خَيْرٌ مَّقَامًا وَأَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّا

Maqam
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And when Our manifest Signs are recited unto them, the disbelievers say to the believers, ‘Which of the two parties is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?’
26:58

فَأَخْرَجْنَٰهُم مِّن جَنَّٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ

So We turned them out of gardens, and springs,
26:59

وَكُنُوزٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ

And treasures, and an abode of honour.
37:165

وَمَا مِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٌ مَّعْلُومٌ

Maqam

And the angels say: ‘And there is not one of us but has an appointed station.
44:26

كَمْ تَرَكُوا۟ مِن جَنَّٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ

‘Ain / SpringsCropsMaqam

How many were the gardens and the springs that they left behind!
44:27

وَزُرُوعٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ

And the cornfields and the noble places!
44:52

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍ

Afterlife (Akhirah) / Description Of Rewards InDay Of Requital / Resurrection, (Yaumul-Qiyamah, Yaumud-Din, Yaumul-Akhirah, Yaumul-Ba‘th) / Believers On TheMaqamParadise (Jannah) / Believers Who Do Good Works Will EnterParadise (Jannah) / Description OfRighteous (Salihin) / Rewarded

Verily, the righteous will be in a place of security,
55:47

وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ

But for him who fears to stand before his Lord there are two Gardens —
79:41

وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفْسَ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ

Allah / FearBelievers (Mu’min) / Fear AllahDesire (Evil, Low), (Hawa)Fear / Of Allah, (Khashi‘ah)Maqam

But as for him who fears to stand before his Lord, and restrains his soul from evil desires,
79:42

فَإِنَّ ٱلْجَنَّةَ هِىَ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ

Abode / In HeavenDesire (Evil, Low), (Hawa)Maqam

The Garden shall surely be his home.
