8:57

اَلَّذِیۡنَ عٰہَدتَّ مِنۡہُمۡ ثُمَّ یَنۡقُضُوۡنَ عَہۡدَہُمۡ فِیۡ کُلِّ مَرَّۃٍ وَّہُمۡ لَا یَتَّقُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Those with whom thou didst make a covenant; then they break their covenant every time, and they do not fear God.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

(یعنی) وہ لوگ جن سے تو نے معاہدہ کیا پھر وہ ہر بار اپنا عہد توڑ دیتے ہیں اور وہ ڈرتے نہیں۔

French

Ceux avec qui tu as fait un pacte ; puis chaque fois ils violent leur pacte sans aucune crainte.

German

jene, mit denen du einen Bund schlossest; dann brechen sie jedesmal ihren Bund, und sie fürchten Gott nicht.

那些与你订约的人, [c]他们每次都破坏自己的许约, 不敬畏 (安拉)。

2:28.

Coloro con i quali tu facesti un patto, poi ogni volta lo violano, e non temono Allah.

Spanish

Aquellos con quienes cerraste un pacto. En cada ocasión rompen su pacto; y no temen a Dios.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

وہ لوگ جن سے تو نے عہد کیا مگر وہ ہر دفعہ اپنا عہد توڑ دیتے ہیں اور (خدا کا) تقویٰ اختیار نہیں کرتے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Those with whom thou hast made a covenant,—then [d]they break their covenant[1134] every time, and they do not fear Allah.

2:28.

They repeatedly break their plighted word and dishonour agreements solemnly entered into.

English - Five Volume Translation

Those with whom thou didst make a covenant; then [c]they break their covenant every time, and they do not fear God.[1144A]

This verse qualifies and explains the one that precedes it.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

(خصوصاً) ان میں سے وہ لوگ جن کے ساتھ تو نے معاہدہ کیا پھر وہ ہر موقع پر اس کو توڑتے ہیں اور ذرا خدا کا خوف نہیں کرتے

English - Sahih

The ones with whom you made a treaty but then they break their pledge every time, and they do not fear Allah.

جن لوگوں سے تو نے عہد لیا پھر وہ ہر دفعہ اپنے عہد کو توڑتے ہیں اور وہ نہیں ڈرتے
